Hotel Acosta — Hotel in Iquitos

Everything is fine (nice breakfast with fruits, eggs, sausage, ham, cheese...,room size and balcony) except the fact that they didn't respect what have been agreed, the reason for the 4 stars and not 5. We stayed a first 3 nights and liked the hotel very much. So we decided to return after our 3 days in the jungle and before leaving, we checked with the reception if a specific room was free for our dates and booked that room. I have stayed twice in this hotel within one week. The first time upon check in,the reception staff asked to pay more than the rate confirmed though booking.com, luckily the issue was solved and I have decided to return after few days. Upon return, one of the staff member blamed us to have stolen the hairdryer on the previous stay and when he found it, he did not even apologize. The hotel is nice and has a good location, it s just a shame that the staff is unprofessional and not welcoming.Need an intense hospitality...

Se encuentra céntrico, cerca de la plaza de Armas en una de las calles más caóticas de Iquitos, que ya es decir casi todo. Está anticuado, sin ascensor. El aire acondicionado es tan antiguo que hace un ruido terrible en las habitaciones. Necesite tapones para dormir. Eso sí, funciona. Imaginaos cuando se suman el tráfico y el aire acondicionado. ||||El desayuno es bueno, un punto a favor. Pero internet no funciona en ningún sitio excepto en recepción. Mucha etiqueta de wifi y tripadvisor pero no dan los servicios que anuncian. Muchos repetidores wifi pero nada, en las habitaciones no va. Pedí que reiniciasen el sistema, pero tampoco.||||Los carros de limpieza están por los pasillos a deshoras. Las habitaciones libres están abiertas. Limpieza en habitaciones y baño si que hay, con lo que en eso es fiable.||||Mi trato con los recepcionistas un desastre. Pedí imprimir una tarjeta de embarque y me cobraron por ella. Si ya eso es bastante cutre, el gesto, cuando voy a pagar se niega aceptarme un billete porque tenía una pequeña raja en el centro, ya que los billetes peruanos son más antiguos que el pais. Tuve una discusión y me dijeron que la ley en el pais dice que los billetes rotos no valen. Nadie te enseña la ley claro, porque eso es una estupidez. En menos de una hora había usado el billete para pagar en una pizzería mis consumiciones.||||No recomiendo en absoluto este hotel. El trato para mi es muy importante y en...
