Newer hotel in Aguas Calientes compared to others. It is also the furthest hotel from the train station and from Machu Picchu! It has accommodations such as Netflix, Amazon Prime on TV. It has a refrigerator in the room. The large picture frame windows allow beautiful views of the mountains! The breakfast was available at the restaurant before our early hike to Manchu Picchu. It has free wifi included in price. Hotel is quiet except for the many free dogs barking in city (all harmless). The workers are all very accommodating. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds and good sheets and towels. Shower is standard size with large shower head. One sink and no storage space for items. No safe in room. US plugs in room do not need adapters. No coffee maker in room. Very close to many mini supermarkets and restaurants. This area is a residential area. Hardwood floors. Would recommend but it is a walk and I don’t have anything to compare 😊. We have enjoyed this hotel!

Place that popular with a Machu Picchu crowd. Service was good. Our guide was able to coordinate for some hotel representatives to bring our backpacks to a local restaurant so we could get some lunch and get our packs before we took the train back to Cusco. The location was convenient to the center of the city. The bed was comfortable, and the room was relatively clean. There was a large TV in my small room at about high-level. Every time I went to the bathroom at night. I hit my head on it. There was no air conditioning and the room was pretty warm. Wi-Fi was so so. Breakfast started serving at 5 AM, which is nice for those getting an early start on Machu Picchu.

We booked this hotel because it seemed to be one of the newer ones and rooms looked nice. I really like the location of the hotel. It’s next to the river and mountains. If you get a high floor, like we did, the scenery is beautiful! The windows open so you can sleep to the sound of the river which is extremely relaxing. And blocks out the noise from the train. The reason for the 4stars is because during breakfast the would only put a small portion of eggs, milk, coffee, etc. Which wasn’t even enough for two people. On our last day we went closer to 9am because they supposedly stopped serving at 10am. There wasn’t much left and they didn’t bring anything else out. They literally stopped bringing food out one hour before. A few people who came after us literally only ate the leftover bread and coffee. I don’t think we would stay here again, unless there was breakfast. I recommend because overall it’s a nice hotel. It’s a bit far out from the main things which we loved because it wasn’t so noise. The walk is only a few minutes away and the hotel beds and shower were great! However, if you want to be annoyed and frustrated with their stinginess then don’t stay there. It would be a 5 star if the breakfast would have been replenished so we wouldn’t be...

Decent rooms in terms of size. Our room had a funny smell and we realized later that our toilet leaked. The shower was hit or miss. Some days it took 10 minutes to get warm, one day I had to take a cold shower, but then the next morning it was totally fine and hot. A little unpredictable. |The location was fine, Aguas Calientes is small and walkable. The room was reasonably clean. The breakfast was hectic because everyone got an early start to Machu Picchu and they only had a single person working the kitchen, so they constantly ran out of juice, eggs, bread, etc. |The front desk staff was not great. They took our passports at check in and told us we could come back to pick them up in 20 minutes (would have been nice if they had offered to deliver them to the rooms but OK). When I showed up downstairs to retrieve my family's passports, the front desk and lobby area were empty, a stack of 10+ passports was displayed on the bar and the door to the hotel was propped open. Anyone could have walked in from the street and grabbed the stack on passports!! I would not recommend this hotel. There are enough other choices in...

I found this hotel after having a horrible experience at another hotel nearby. Angelina was so kind and helpful when I came in very stressed, tired, and frustrated carrying my kid who also had little to no sleep the night before. ||After telling her my experience at the other hotel, she offered to show me my room before I paid so I would be comfortable. The room itself was wonderful. Large bed, much larger room than many hotels around, smelled good, was clean, and had hot water. The hotel is nice and convenient from the train station drop off, and there is laundry next door. There is also an elevator, which is really convenient. ||The breakfast is actually breakfast with a large buffet with many options, way better again than the other hotel we stayed at. They store your luggage after checkout as well, and even though the hotel was almost fully booked, Angelina remembered us every time we walked in and out, and even offered us an umbrella or rain coat on a rainy day. ||In comparison to the nearby options, I'd choose this one...
