Resort hotel restaurant but service like street vendors I had a bad experience having dinner at this place. The reservation at the reception was served well and I was informed that the only spot that was still available was at 8 pm. I agreed. Finally I came even though it was late because of the rain, I almost canceled it. However, I committed to keeping my reservation because I didn't know who to contact considering I wasn't staying at the Inkatera resort. When I arrived at the reception, I was immediately told to go to the restaurant. When I arrived at the restaurant I had to wait to be spoken to by the officer after he was busy with his computer screen, until his colleagues gave a sign that a guest had arrived. I was asked to wait without any clarity for 5 minutes until finally the officer looked for my name on the list and did not find a reservation under my name. But I saw in the corner of the door there was already a table arranged for one person. Then the officer asked me to sit down while saying that my name was not listed in the reservation. I insisted that I had given my name and I could definitely come at 8 o'clock. In fact, I would be happy if I was refused dinner when the situation was already unpleasant like this. Finally, the officer did not have a problem if my name was not on the list even though I was not a guest at the Inkatera resort. The waiter's English was broken and very unfriendly. Then I only ordered the main course braised chicken and craft beer. In my opinion, the food and presentation were very ordinary and craft beer is also easily available on the streets or supermarkets. This kind of service makes me uncomfortable. If you don't want to accept reservations from outside the hotel, just say so rather than being long-winded and seeming unfriendly in providing service. There is only one friendly officer, the man who took the craft beer order and brought it to my table. The restaurant room is very comfortable, warm and aesthetic, except for the service of the waiter which is very bad, even worse than the service of street food restaurants in Peru. The taste of the food is standard, not extraordinary. My suggestion is to fix and re-educate the Inkaterra resort waiters in serving guests who come even though they are not staying at the resort. However, the tourism industry does not guarantee that it will always be busy, especially since we have all experienced difficult times in the COVID era. So don't treat guests carelessly if you still want to get guests.

I recently had the chance to stay at Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel, and let me tell you, it was an experience I'll never forget. Tucked away in the beautiful cloud forest close to the famous Machu Picchu site, this place is the perfect mix of comfort, natural beauty, and fascinating history. The first thing that hit me was the location. You're basically staying in a cloud forest, surrounded by nature, and it's as peaceful as you'd imagine. My room looked out on this lush green forest, which was an incredible sight to wake up to. The rooms here feel like you've stepped into a cozy Andean village house. My room was clean, super comfortable, and it had everything I needed. Plus, the local crafts used in the decor gave it an authentic Peruvian touch. In terms of food, the hotel's restaurant serves up some fantastic Andean dishes. Everything's made with fresh, local ingredients, so you really get a taste of Peru. And if you're looking to unwind, they've got a spa that offers a bunch of treatments – ideal after a long day exploring! One of the things that I loved about Inkaterra was the focus on nature and conservation. The hotel has its own Orchid Garden and a Spectacled Bear Rescue Center, which were really cool to check out. They also have an organic tea plantation where you can try your hand at making tea. A major highlight of my stay was the guided tour to Machu Picchu. The guide was super knowledgeable, and it was great getting to learn more about the history and culture of the Incas. I also have to mention the staff. They were all incredibly friendly and helpful, which made my stay even better. In terms of safety, I felt really secure during my stay. It's clear that the hotel takes safety seriously, and the staff were well-prepared for any situation. All in all, my stay at Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel was fantastic. With its amazing location, great facilities, and the chance to visit Machu Picchu, it's a real gem. It's the kind of place that sticks with you, and I'm already thinking about when I can go back.

Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel is not your ordinary hotel—it’s a rainforest retreat that transforms your stay into an unforgettable experience. Nestled at the edge of Aguas Calientes, surrounded by lush rainforest, this hotel offers a magical escape into nature. Honestly, you could spend your entire vacation exploring the grounds and never feel like you missed out (though I definitely recommend seeing the legendary Machu Picchu while you're here!). The hotel feels like a small village, with charming whitewashed cottages scattered across beautifully landscaped grounds. Everywhere you look, you're surrounded by vibrant greenery, orchids, and birds—it’s like stepping into a living botanical garden. Be sure not to miss the orchid garden and the riverside trail; wandering the property is an experience in itself. Each room is unique, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with rustic elegance. Expect cozy touches like fireplaces, thick robes, and local decor that blends seamlessly with the natural surroundings. The lobby is a destination all its own, filled with inviting nooks, comfy sofas, and a warm, welcoming ambiance perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Dining is a treat at the on-site restaurant, which offers a generous breakfast buffet and a variety of delicious dishes throughout the day. The bar is a great spot to unwind with a cocktail, and the spa provides soothing treatments inspired by local traditions. Don’t forget to stop by the eco center, where you can learn more about the area’s biodiversity and join activities led by knowledgeable guides. Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel isn’t just a place to sleep; it’s a destination in its own right. Whether you’re here to see Machu Picchu or simply to immerse yourself in the beauty of the rainforest, this hotel offers an enchanting, restorative experience you won’t forget. Highly recommended.
