Nuna sumaq hotel — Hotel in Ollantaytambo

Wonderfull stay in the Nuna Sumaq hotel. We were a party of 5 so we booked two rooms. Both rooms were perfect. Comfy beds and hot showers. What more could you ask for! We recommend staying here instead of Aguas Calientes. The train from here to Aguas is a lovely ride. The hotel is just a short walk to the square. The owner is so nice and cooked us hot scrambled eggs for breakfast along with the best mango I’ve had....

Stunning location up against the mountain with easy access to hiking, and easy walking distance to the square, Ollantaytambo archeological sites, and the train station. The roof has a lovely seating area that is great for stargazing at night. The breakfast each morning was good and the staff was super friendly. The shower in my room was great! Nice and hot, with plenty of water volume and pressure! I would stay here...

Weird experience. I arrived to locked front door. Someone finally opened door, reception was dark and empty. Woman shoes me room and gives me key, no check in, no information. I felt sketched out so left. Had booked on booking.com and they knew when I would be coming,...
