I was going to try complete Machu Picchu April 12/2023, but I only made to part of the way. And then my travel company arranged for me a hotel. I said I just want room with bed and shower. Mostly to rest. Bc it was a long grousing tiring day. Here they have treated me like family they have went above and beyond anything I ever thought. And walked me to and from a wonderful place to eat. And coke back for me I’m not good w directions. They are only 2-3 minutes into town even by me. Slow Walker. Rooms are very clean. Linens, top quality. From the beds, towels, sheets. Comfy couch in my Room as well if you can drag yourself outta bed bc it’s the most comfortable ever! you sit outside on back terrace listen to the stream Flowing just so peaceful, Mauricio speaks great English this just feels like home. Bc you get treated like family here. So e urself money book your stay here and know you will have a good breakfast before trekking to Machu Picchu. Excellent hot water. Plenty of towels all u need is u and...

I would like to rate this hostel a bit higher because it was fine for our needs, but in truth, was nothing more than fine. The town itself doesn't have much in terms of high quality places to stay so you could do worse than staying here. It was far enough from the main square and very busy train station to be quiet, yet still close enough to walk into town (2 minutes along an old Incan cobbled street), which is what we wanted. It has a great view of Ollantaymbo, great reception staff, breakfast was good, and had a lovely little garden. The little cat (Pichi) and big playful albino rabbit (Robin) loved cuddles and were the highlight of staying here. Rooms were small but adequate with cute furnishings; and the hot shower was very welcome as it can get quite cold in...

We stayed a total of 3 nights (2 before and 1 after trip to Machu Pichu). This is a nice locally owned hotel which is within 3 minutes of walk to the Main Square. The room was nicely furnished and quiet. The breakfast in the morning was good. Mauricio and Jorge were very friendly and helpful. They arranged for transportation from and to Cuzco Airport. They planned sights for us to see on the way both times. It was very good.||If you access the place from Main road (if you get dropped by Taxi or 3 wheeler) there are steep steps to climb. However you can walk to the main square through the back stone road (no vehicles allowed).||We enjoy staying at locally owned hotels when we travel abroad and This place did not...

Great view. Good breakfast. Free wifi. If you have a big luggage prepare to carry it as the stone road in this village is pedestrian only. From the nearest road it is not too far however. If you must use shampoo instead of provided soap, bring your own. Walking distance to the nearby Inca site, and the town center which has cafes and restaurants.
