I had an unforgettable stay at the Kamma Guest House in Ollantaytambo. The hotel is on a narrow, walking only, street away from the main road into town which takes fairly heavy tourist traffic to the Ollantaytambo ruins. The streets around the hotel look like they have hardly changed since Inca times. I had a room with a window facing the narrow street with its constant, soothing flow of water in the small canal on the far side. The views from the hotel room were amazing, consisting of the ruins of the Pinkuylluna archeological site and ruins on the steep hills to the east. The guest house has a top floor balcony with a wonderful view across the roofs to Ollantay's main archeological site. Breakfast was great. The best part was the personal attention and help from Liz. If I ever go back to Ollantay, there is nowhere else I would stay. I recommend the guest house...

I can’t thank the owners at Kamma enough for their hospitality during our stay. This guest house is just a few blocks off the main square and perfectly situated. It’s also just across the street from the entrance to some of the lesser visited ruins in the city so ideal location for that. They have a lovely daily breakfast on their roof that is top notch.||More importantly they were so kind to us. I was pretty ill when I arrived back from Machu Picchu and they went out of their way to check in on me, offer tea, and (because we made two separate reservations for our two night stay with a different room type) when they realized we reserved two different types of rooms they allowed me to stay in my original room until the second was ready given they knew how poorly I was feeling. ||Cannot recommend...

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of August and had a wonderful time. Liz, the host, was extremely friendly and spoke English which was a bonus. The location was perfect just off the town square and right across from the entrance to some ruins. It was ealkable to everything including the train station.Beautiful views from the room and rooftop terrace. The room was clean and warm. We did not get cold or hot at all even without heating or AC. The room had hot water and a TV where you could sign into streaming services. The room also had a small balcony and a small aquaduct stream outside which I found peaceful. Breakfast in the mornings was delicious and the coffee was really good! Also had access to free hot tea 24/7 and water bottles for purchase.

Loves the quaint little town of Ollantaytambo and our experience was even made more pleasant with our at Kamma Guest House. Location was just a 5mins stroll away from the main plaza on the beautiful cobblestone pavement. Owner Liz is friendly and helpful and shared with us the locations of the various historic sites and restaurants in Ollantaytambo. The guest house's entrance is right opposite the entry to the Pinkuylluna Mountain Granaries. Our room has a good view of historic site. Be sure to take the short hike and enjoy the spectacular view of the town. Room and bathroom are clean and they provide hot water with various tea options at the lobby area where you can chill out at bit. We already miss their 2 dogs Chicho and Negra.
