From the moment we arrived, this boutique island hotel felt like a hidden paradise. The warm welcome from the staff immediately set the tone—they were genuinely attentive, always smiling, and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The property itself is stunning: beautifully designed with a perfect balance of luxury and local charm. Every detail—from the chic, airy interiors to the lush landscaping—feels thoughtfully curated. Our room was spotless, spacious, and opened up to breathtaking views of the turquoise Palawan water. Our room was the Main Villa with private pool and I just love love everything about the room, not to mention the bathroom with 2 sinks and 2 showers! And the very comfortable eames lounge chair was a cherry on top! And the staff! Wow it was the best customer service we’ve ever received from a hotel. They are exceptionally and genuinely helpful, and very willing to assist with all of our requests including decorating our room for my boyfriends birthday- shout out to April the hotel manager who came to the rescue and helped setup our room even though it was her day off! And another shout out to Arjay who served us our lovely breakfast daily. The food was a real highlight—everything was so fresh and full of flavor, with lots of local island dishes to try. They were also happy to whip up international favorites if you felt like something familiar. And honestly, nothing beats starting the day with breakfast on the terrace, looking out at the ocean. Pure bliss! What truly made the experience special, though, was the sense of peace and exclusivity. Unlike big resorts, this boutique gem felt intimate and personal—you’re never just another guest here, you’re truly cared for. If you’re looking for a place to relax, recharge, and feel completely pampered, I can’t recommend this boutique island hotel enough. It’s the kind of stay that leaves you planning your return before you’ve even checked out. P.S. we were supposed to only stay for 2nights and travel to Puerto Princesa but ended up cancelling PPS and extending our stay at Morgan Villas for another 3days!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This boutique hotel is an absolute hidden gem. From the moment you land, they’ve got you covered—airport pickup, warm welcome with iced tea, and a handcrafted necklace that sets the tone for the rest of your stay. The rooms? Beautiful all-wood interiors, super comfy beds (4 pillows!), amazing rain shower, and a fridge fully stocked with free refreshments. Every detail feels thoughtful. Location is a dream—you just cross the road and you’re on a beach with sand, pebbles, and clear blue water. They also offer free kayak use and complimentary transportation to nearby spots. No stress, just good vibes. The entire staff is next-level—bartenders, housekeepers, maintenance crew, front desk—everyone treats you like family. And special shoutout to the kitchen cook, who absolutely kills it every morning with delicious, freshly prepared breakfasts. From perfectly cooked eggs to full Filipino plates and fresh smoothies made with local ingredients—it’s all made with love and it shows. Each evening, you get a message from the front desk to pre-order breakfast. The next morning, your meal arrives with a warm personal note. It’s those small touches that really stay with you. Carlos, the owner, also makes the experience unforgettable—he personally greets guests every morning and shares awesome recommendations for restaurants and beach clubs. You can tell he truly cares. They do offer private beach access and island hopping tours—more premium priced, but if you’re after a curated, quality experience, it’s totally worth it. This place blends comfort, character, and heart. Can’t wait to return

I promise that most of the reviews posted here are from their friends and family. This place is a disaster area. Over priced. Most guess look like they are from the ghetto, there is a tiny bar area where the music is played too loud. We stayed one night, I guess my boyfriend wanted something with a view so we ended up climbing 200+ steps. I am in my 40s and chubby, this was not fun, on top of that I had food poisoning (not from this hotel) so the climb literately made me nauseous. The biggest issue we had was the air conditioner, we set it to the coolest setting and it barely cooled the room, it was so hot!! The second issue was the amount of bugs that were able to get inside, and they obviously knew about this as they had a bug zapper lamp inside the room. With me getting sick shortly after arriving, caused by food poisoning (their reply implies that I was drunk, I don't drink) they would not let us cancel the tour we had booked for the following day, stating they had already prepared food, etc. I would have considered paying for just the cost of the food, which was just bone in chicken thigh, rice and two pieces of stemmed fish wrapped in tin foil, all of which came in plastic containers and seemed to be from a home kitchen. I recommend and elevator, new A/C unit, and caulking to fill the gaps where the bugs came through.

Morgan Villas is by far the best place we stayed at in El Nido. The hotel is very intimate and exceptionally well-managed, which is evident in every detail. The villas are fully equipped, brand new, beautifully designed, and feature an incredibly comfortable bed with a stunning view of the bay.

The hotel offers a rich and diverse breakfast menu, with the unique option of having it served either in your room or right by the sea. Additionally, complimentary services include laundry, unlimited water, and delicious homemade iced tea. The beachfront bar serves the best coffee I had in the Philippines.

However, the highlight of our stay was the hotel’s staff. Words cannot describe how warmly we were welcomed. The team is not only incredibly kind and hospitable but also highly professional. They made us feel like the most important guests in the world, always ready to assist with even the smallest requests.

They also took care of our complimentary transport, from picking us up at the port to arranging a transfer to our next hotel. On top of that, they even offered us a private island tour completely free of charge.

I truly believe there is no other place like this in the world. We highly recommend it to anyone who values comfort, quality, and an intimate atmosphere while still being close to the town. Guests can also enjoy free scooter and kayak rentals, adding even more to this...
