I was on a very tight budget that weekend due to a lot of emergencies, yet I also needed a place to stay for the weekend, as I'm scheduled for hair and makeup for a wedding at 4am the next day. And I will be up until late evening and will have to keep going back to the city in the next 2 days. For the budget, don't expect a 5-star hotel, okay? But you had security, privacy and comfort. I didn't sleep the first evening because I was still busy sewing my gown. Good thing they had a desk! 😍 It served as my workstation all night. They also were kind enough to give me a wake-up call because I was really exhausted for days, yet I had to wake up so early the next 2 days. It's a walking distance to Jollibee, so I was still able to eat. It has WiFi. It had a kitchen and its own bathroom, and some furniture for me to park my bags. The ac unit is just a bit noisy. Don't use the room for recording materials or for taking calls or having meetings. Their staff were all friendly and helpful. The streets there are quite dark, but safe. There are dorms nearby, and the townsfolk are just busy doing their laundry, etc. The streets are peaceful. For those with tight budgets, this will do. 👍👍👍👍

Staff where almost friendly, but if you have a motorbike or a car you have to pay for overnight parking in front of the hotel parking, 100 pesos for motorbikes which is not much, Pero it was a bit weird. We had our room on the ground floor, it was loud noise from outside, and on the morning we woke up, the hotel staff was speaking very loudly. The sofa was damaged, we couldn’t use it, no soap or shower gel l, or toothpaste or toothbrush provided. We couldn’t have a good rest at all. Check out is 12 unfortunately we went out to grab some food, and the hotel staff where called us before 12, exactly 11.58 am, that we have to leave the room. Very disappointing, never ever again at this hotel…

The room is nice but it has a stuffy smell, probably because there's no window to let the air out. The water also has a smell, so it's better to use mineral water when brushing your teeth. The shower hose has a hole in it too, so the water comes out slowly. But considering the price, it's still okay. You get what you pay for, I guess.

Oyo hotel 858 has been very disappointing since my check in....hotel reception seems to be very respectable..and helpful in solving problems with checking in and cancellations....(they also charge 500 pesos for early check in) however when I was shown my first two rooms on the ground level ...they both did not have a window....none of the rooms have a microwave or a mini fridge ....I was then showed rooms on thier 2nd level which were better only because they had windows...the water to the toliet was turned off ( for whatever reason) which i then had to turn own myself, and the hot water to the shower in my room was not working (which reception did address by changing my room)....the 2nd level is more warm and humid than the ground level rooms...which would not be a problem if the a/c in my room worked better....if you decide to stay here...please only book for one or two nights to see for yourselves if the budget price justifies the low quality rooms...I was keep up all night by a barking dog and a woman screaming....this is probably one of the worse stays i have ever had in a hotel ever......Hotel is located in BGC so be prepared for heavy traffic at all times during the day....I'm really not sure why this hotel has such a...

Kaya pala canceled ang Agoda booking. And Pay at the hotel sila kasi maraming hidden charges pag dating mo.

So sige! Dahil 5pm past na nag go na kami. Kaso nung naka settle na kami ng mga gamit sa room at lumabas na para mag punta sa burol hinabol na naman kami ng staff at sinabing yung 1k na binayad namin ngayon for our kids eh for that night lang yun. Another 1k pa pala the next day. 🤦 So sabi namin icacancel namin yung 2nd day at for tonight lang kami matutulog dyan. So another booking na naman at tumawag na naman kami sa OYO..
  4. the next day, 11:30am pa lang kinatok na kami ng staff. Check out na daw. Kako kuya 12noon pa ang check out.

SOBRANG HASSLE WITH HIDDEN CHARGES!!!
