Located in Station 1, within a few minutes walk of the beach. I stayed in a Premier Room - the bed was comfortable and queen size. The room was clean and had a TV, Google Assistant, roomsafe, and a remote control for the AC. Finding transportation to different parts of Boracay is easy from this location as it's close to the main road with e-trikes/trikes, motorbikes, etc. Very responsive and friendly staff - they will clean your room while your away for the day upon request which is nice (even for a short stay) when you come back with sand on your clothes and towels. A nice addition is they provide complimentary beach towels to use during your stay that you can take to the beach. Breakfast is included with hotel price and isnt half bad to get your day started. To summarize, this hotel has everything you will need to enjoy your stay in Boracay and get where you need to on the island as the location is ideal (being closer to more secluded beaches such as Puka Shell and Illi-Illigan), but it is not luxurious in any sense which reflects in the pricepoint. As long as you can look past the glitz and glamour of other hotels, this will do just fine as it has everything you and your significant other will need and the beach is just on the other side of the road. It is worth noting that this part of Boracay (Station 1) is undergoing major construction at the moment so roadwork will be common along this stretch near the hotel for the foreseeable future (be aware of things like dust, roads not as friendly to...
Read moreExcellent place to stay if you are on a budget and are not looking for frills. The place is a short walk to Station 1 and is not beach front. This didn’t bother us as our surroundings were quiet and safe, with trees as our view. The hotel is old and in need of refurbishing. The towels were ratty and discolored. New towels would not have cost that much and would’ve made a huge difference. Toiletries were basic - shampoo and small soap bars. The body wash container was empty and no toothbrushes were provided. Housekeeping should do a better job because we discovered men’s underwear hanging behind one of the bathroom doors; we were all women - yuck!||Free breakfast selections were all good and the service was excellent. The staff were quiet and not annoyingly chatty around guests. HOWEVER, the night shift receptionist (a man with long hair) would go up and down the stairs at 11PM and 5AM to turn the lights on and off, with his clacking slippers making so much noise on the wooden stairs that it kept waking us up!!! How was he not aware of the noise that he was making?? We only tolerated it because we thought it was fellow guests who were making the noise, but I could no longer contain my annoyance and stepped out as soon as I was awakened again, to find out who it was. Please do something about training your staff regarding these basic, common sense...
Read moreThis is my 2nd trip where I have stayed at this Hotel. The first trip this was just a pleasant surprise, we did not expect much from it but were blown away by the service and all.
The place does not have a pool but is about 5 minutes away from the beach. Someone mentioned that the walkway was muddy and dirty but that was 4 months ago. I was here about 4 to 5 months ago and they were building the walk way from the hotel to the road. That construction is now complete as of March.
The rooms are cozy and I believe they all have balconies. All the rooms are non smoking but you are free to smoke on the balcony.
The hotel offers free breakfast every morning from 6 or 7am to 10am. You can always order extras at an additional charge.
The hotel provides beach towels and a beach mat to all guests upon request. There are other items available upon request.
Ultimately I feel that the hotel staff goes above and beyond to help you feel comfortable and at home in One Crescent Place.
I stayed at Bluewater Fairways for 3 nights and we left after 1 night to return to One Crescent Place. Part of it is how terrible Bluewater Fairways was for us but also in part to how great our experience at One Crescent was. This trip I stayed at 3 hotels in the same area, again thanks to One Crescent and seeing how nice...
