Paraw Beach Club — Restaurant in Malay

I spent every day in my 1 week stay in Boracay at Paraw Beach Club! Loved it! I was searching for "digital nomad" place where I was able to work on my computer all day in swimming trunks, and this Beach Club made it possible.

Place: On the top floor they have pretty good seats with power outlets, fans everywhere, and you can wash off the sand from your foot, after you came back from a quick bathing in the sea. The internet OK speed, the connection is semi stable, I recommend that you have your own data available. People are smoking on the top floor, but with the fans, that is manageable for everyone to feel alright. The staff is welcoming and friendly.

Vibe: The daytime music is pretty relaxing, very monoton and not loud. I would recommend for the place to update it a little bit from time to time :P . The music after 4-5pm is very decent Tribal and House Music (as far as i was able to tell) with a DJ, but that is loud. The sunsets are amazing here.

About the foods and drink: the coconut juice is pretty huge size, highly recommend, the coffee and the smoothies are decent. I was not very happy with the Triple B Burger. If you order extra ingredients, it could be nice, and also the "Potato Chips" on the side feels weird for me, would love to have the classic French fries on the side :) I really liked the Paraw Club Sandwich, that was decent in portion and for taste as well. The Banana Split's portion was a bit disappointing for me either.

TLDR: Would recommend this place if you want to have a relaxed day at the beach with decent house music and...

REALLY AWFUL EXPERIENCE.

#1 MODUS SCAM What made the visit most awful was that the waiter scammed us. The bill was Php3,001. Paying in cash, I counted my bills. It was 3k and then I added a peso. I was so thrilled because my budget was exactly 3k. That was all I brought with me that evening. I had to ask my friend for 100 to give a tip. So it totaled 3,101.

I was treating my friends because it was my birthday. Mark the waiter gets the bill and payment and after 1 minute comes back and say kulang daw 2900 lang.

My daughter can attest before I ordered I counted my money.

Then I realized Mark NEVER acknowledged the amount I gave him the way most waiters do? Parang ganito "Received 3,101 po."

Basic yun di ba? But me enjoying time with friends didn't mind it. Yun pala modus nya para mangupit. I wanted to check the CCTV But luck was not on my side. 2 CCTVs were on top of where I was sitting viewing different areas and because it was dim since candlelight di makikita sa malayo na I counted my money.

Walang video. So ito magagawa ko para sa mga pupunta. MALAKING BABALA. MASCASCAM KAYO SA PARAW BEACH CLUB.

I wonder gano na karami ginanito nila. Baka konti lang kasi credit card or Gcash mga tao.

#2 AWFUL SEAFOOD PLATTER and RICE

Yung tahong di fresh naghiwahiwalay na wala ka na makain SCAM talaga Tapos Garlice Rice platter na 390 Yung totoo parang 1.5 cups na rice na pinitpit. Damn.

I SWEAR. This was the most horrible restaurant experience for me.

2/21/25 It was my first time dining in this front beach resto around 2PM in the afternoon PH time. The location is good. I have been living in Boracay for more than 2 yrs already and been to different resto, cafe’s and restaurants in different stations so far. I like their hawain’ pizza and pad thai (see attached photo) worth the price. But, I was really disappointed of their caramel macchiato hot coffee. It was really sweet and not designed. Sorry, I tried different Caramel Macchiato in the island for the same price (P180) but this time, it’s my first time that I never finish my coffee. I tried calling the attention of the person who served it and asked if it is the caramel macchiato I ordered and yes it is, and maybe it is a different brand of caramel macchiato I tested but it is not worth the price and it looks like just a brewed coffee with tons of sugar in it. I don’t complain as I don’t have the guts, but after checking my day, I feel sad about what happened to my caramel macchiato and vent out here LOL. So, sorry but this is an honest feedback.

I only give 3 stars for the atmosphere as I don’t like the service. I can sense and have a strong intuition about the people working in that resto and they are not welcoming. Somehow, we chose to dine there to relax and enjoy the food but it ended up disappointed.
