IL Mare Sakura Resort Boracay — Hotel in Malay

We stayed for two nights at Il Mare Sakura Resort Boracay with family and relatives. We occupied four rooms in total and we had a wonderful time. The resort is strategically located at Station 1 Balabag, only 250 meters away from the white beach, where you can find the famous Willy’s Rock and Grotto. There are also many restaurants and bars within reach, making this a convenient location at an affordable price.||Argean, Lee and the rest of the staff at the resort were very friendly and provided top-notch service. They greeted us warmly, helped us with our luggage, and gave us advise for any restrictions during our stay about about Boracay. They also gave us useful tips on where to go and what to do in Boracay. They were always attentive and responsive to our needs and requests.||The rooms were spacious, fully air-conditioned, and clean. They had a Japanese-inspired design with comfortable beds and soft linens. The bathrooms were also well-equipped with shower facilities, slippers, and free toiletries. The rooms also had a 32-inch flat-screen cable TV, a safety box, and free WiFi access.||The kids loved the resort’s indoor swimming pool, where they could splash around and have fun. The pool was clean and well-maintained, and there were enough towels and lounge chairs for everyone. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a variety of dishes to choose from. We especially liked the Asian options such as noodles, fried fish, and kimchi.||We had a memorable stay at Il Mare Sakura Resort Boracay and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Boracay. We recently stayed at IL Mare Sakura Resort Boracay for 4 days and 3 nights, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were amazing, always courteous, helpful, and greeted us with a smile. We booked two rooms and were fortunate to get ones located at the end corner, which meant less noise.

The rooms were clean and spacious, with comfortable beds. Although the bedding was a bit old and had some stains, everything else was in good working condition, including the restroom facilities, heater, flush, and drainage. We appreciated the free toiletries. The towels were clean but also showed signs of wear. We had no issues with the AC, mini fridge, or TV, although the door was a bit noisy when opening and closing.

The location of the resort is excellent, being less than a 5-minute walk from the beach, which was very convenient. There’s no elevator, which we were aware of, but since I was traveling with my senior parents, the staff kindly placed us on the second floor. This consideration was greatly appreciated.

Overall, we enjoyed our short stay at IL Mare Sakura Resort Boracay. While some amenities could use updating, the exceptional service from the staff and the delicious breakfast made our stay memorable. We will definitely...

I would like to give 10 stars to all the staff starting with the breakfast team thank you for a delicious and a wide choices of food, housekeeping for their hardwork for making the hotel everyday clean. Our porters/all around worker and also the reception team for providing us information,instructions and policies throughout the hotel and the island.

Ian: He has always this smile that makes you feel the day/night lighter. Feels like he has this permanent smiley emoji in his face A Very positive person!

Ramil: Always there to see if things are alright and a funny person.

Danica: Another smiley emoji and she makes sure we are all okay.

And lastly Ms. Arjean(don't know how to spell it): A wonderful person a full package of professionalism with a lot of sense of humor that can twist your day/night from good to best.

I won't go to the full details from the things they've done and even though i didn't mention all the staff i'm pretty sure you are in good hands to all of them..
