Came in because this place was highly recommended by a cousin who works in Boracay.
Prices were ok. It’s the usual tourist price when one eats in a restaurant in a popular island.
We ordered the following: Mo mango shake - ok Papaya shake - wow! Very yummy and not too sweet. And I didn’t even ask for less sugar Adobo - dry adobo, very tender, it’s perfect for me Pakbet - It tasted ok, but the little meat that were in it were mostly fat Caesar’s salad - crunchy and fresh lettuce. Usual salad. Didn’t stand out. bangus sisig - everybody in our group liked it. Me, I think it’s just so-so Ginataan gulay - vegetables (okra, long beans, calabasa) with coconut milk. it was just ok and ordindary. No complaint. Looks the same with Pakbet but with coconut milk Kansi - broth was tasted great but meat wasn’t very tender Fried oysters - perfectly cooked fresh tasting ousters. Everybody loved this. Calamari - thick, tasted good but a little bit chewy Chicken inasal - it’s kinda sour, but tasted ok. It’s tender and better tasting than Mang Inasal but not as good as Bacolod inasal
Food: 4 star Ambiance: 4 star ( no A/C) but the warm breeze and the Electric fan facing us helped with the heat. It’s great that it’s near the beach (one can see the beach where we’re seated - 2nd flr) Service: 3 star. Nobody refilled our water and nobody asked us how was the food (I guess it’s the norm in the Philippines for this) Cleanliness: 4 star. Place is clean. Restroom (they have their own) has toilet paper, running...
Read moreWe recently visited for lunch and found it conveniently accessible by e-trike along Boracay Highway. There’s a spacious second-floor dining area, perfect for groups of eight like ours.
Our group sampled several dishes, including Quesadillas, Laing, Maya’s Lechon Kawali, Beef Ribs Kaldereta, and Baked Oysters. Each dish was generously portioned, suitable for two to three people to share. The staff were exceptionally accommodating, offering helpful suggestions and promptly answering all our questions.
Among the highlights, the Beef Ribs Kaldereta was tender and flavorful, though I personally found some cuts too thick for my liking. The Laing was deliciously creamy with a pleasant hint of spiciness, while the Baked Oysters tasted fresh and clean. Maya’s Lechon Kawali was delightfully crispy, and even the rice servings were generous—enough for two people each.
What really sets this restaurant apart is its ambiance. Located at Station 1, the second-floor dining area offers a stunning view of the sapphire-blue sky and immaculate white sand below. They do advise against taking a swim while dining, as it might lead to slippery floors. Although we didn’t try their alcoholic beverages this time, we’re looking forward to sampling them on our next visit.
Overall, it’s a great spot for a leisurely lunch with a fantastic view, flavorful dishes, and...
Read moreDefinitely has the best view for sunset. My god, it was stunning. Absolutely breathtaking. There are limited seats so book a table. I got a perfect spot. It was just hot as there was no fan or air conditioning outside. I don't drink alcohol and there were no mocktails on the menu. The waiter said they could make me one, but would still need to charge me the same price as an alcoholic one! Totally ridiculous if you ask me. Never been told this before. I opted for a bottle of water and the yellow fin tuna tataki instead, which was really good. It comprised sesame crusted tuna, mixed greens, carrots, radish and cucumber with a miso vinaigrette. Light and hit the spot. Freshly made and nicely presented. Protein and healthy vegetables! My negatives are that the place was dirty. Tables were not cleaned after guests had left, dirty napkins that had blown were just left all over the floor. It was not that busy and there were more than enough of them. However, only one gentleman appeared to be serving. Took a while. I would recommend going otherwise. The food was good and the sunset views were to die for! ...
