10/10! We stayed for a week at their Suite, which is their biggest room with its own pool and large balcony. We have three young children, and they accommodated us -- only our eight year old was an added fee (the four and five year olds were not charged). The suite had a king bed and a full size pullout bed, perfect for our little ones.||There are a total of three rooms at this boutique hotel. We have already recommended this hotel to all our friends and family -- and it didn't take much convincing once they saw our photos and videos that we were posting. We would stay here again without question. I miss the place already. I would definitely consider renting out all three rooms for a large group. It would be fun for a large family to hang out at the Suite, eat, swim at the pool (it's not deep, but even adults can enjoy it)...the Suite, the entire hotel in general, is a really cool spot. The restaurant on the main floor is beautiful and inviting. All of the various meals we ordered were delicious...||It was great that the breakfast was included because staff bringing you breakfast every morning at the Suite was such a nice experience. The food was FANTASTIC. Shoutout to both Kuya Joels and Ate Ivy along with each and every one of their staff. I wish I could name them all. But, imagine, you have delicious breakfast every morning, and you look get to look out onto that beautiful blue water, which is steps away from your room.||The staff was friendly and accommodating. I ended up rolling my ankle running on the beach, and they were kind enough to bring up a cooler of ice. We also needed clothes to be washed, and they took care of that too by bringing it to the local washer -- for a very reasonable fee.||The room is as good as they show in the pictures -- check out their Instagram @ truehomehotelandbistro. The bathroom was also very nice. Beds, pillows and blanket/comforter were all comfortable. Internet was fast and stable. We never turned on the TV, but the connection was seamless through my laptop. A/C was ice cold.||I could go on and on. Our very first Boracay trip was so memorable thanks in part to our experience with this hotel and their staff. The Suite was really cool to have because of that large balcony and pool (and food).||D'Mall is definitely a walking distance (takes less than 10 minutes on the road or beach) -- it's a nice walk after you eat especially. The other thing to note is that the transfer to and from the airport (roundtrip, this includes in total four vehicle rides and two boat rides!) is not included in your hotel cost, understandably so. You can either book this yourself separately or ask the hotel to take care of it for...
Read morePros: stayed in the deluxe room, comfortable for 2 people the views are breathtaking Unbeatable location Descent wifi Give you beach towels, beach mat as well as normal towels Amazing breakfast - we liked the banana pancakes a lot, chicken porridge, omlette You can have breakfast on your balcony overlooking the ocean and beach Kind staff, Jam, Belinda and all the staff were kind and helpful Good water pressure in shower and taps I think staying here made our trip memorable rather than a crowded part, there was direct beach access and ocean views from the balcony, it was on a quieter part of the beach with less people and less hotels, staying in a bistro might seem a bit odd but theres less hotels in the surrounding area, it feels like a nice hotel Really close to a 7/11 for snacks and water Walkable to lots of good places nearby no more than 15 mins organised airport transfer from the hotel as landing in boracay you need to take ferry nice cold fridge in room thank you April for answering all my questions on email beforehand
Cons: bit noisy but thats because of the location, I think we stayed when there’s a basketball match on Could hear the bass of surrounding nightclubs Bathroom door was a bit squeaky need to...
Read moreWe stayed at this hotel for a duration of three nights, commencing on May 22nd and concluding on May 25th.||My spouse and I were particularly impressed with the scenic view from the suite room, which was complemented by a private pool. The culinary offerings were of exceptional quality, with the chefs demonstrating remarkable skill in crafting delectable dishes that were both flavorful and satisfying. Notably, the beef-based dishes were particularly noteworthy, although I regrettably cannot recall their specific names. We endeavored to sample a comprehensive range of items from the menu.||As a gesture of appreciation for the exceptional culinary experience, my husband generously provided a gratuity to the chefs prior to our departure.||The sole area of concern pertains to the bedding, as the pillows were excessively firm, resulting in discomfort and stiffness in my upper back and neck.||Additionally, we were occasionally disturbed by the sound of vehicles from the adjacent streets during the early morning hours, which somewhat disrupted our sleep, particularly considering our tendency to retire late at night.||Despite these minor inconveniences, we generally had a pleasant stay...
