I am writing this review as leaving boracay after 5 nights. This visit was our second after being in Bluelilly in 2015 previously. Reason for returning was due to beautiful views and quiter surrounding due to being towards the end of station 1. So if you want peace and quiet this is the place to go. The place is just right at the sea doorstep so big plus for that. Now on the other side the management became horrible. Totally ignorance and overcharging. I have added a photo of the inclusive breakfast since choice is horribly poor. That would not be a problem since we allready knew that from our last visit, but to wait after order for this breakfast 1hour 5 min, well everyone should make own opinion would literally take 10 min to make. Other thing I was shocked was on check out so please read carefully to be aware of this. The coffee stick in your room is chargable even it does not say anywhere, thats still ok but to ask for it 38 pesos is totally unreasonable when the same coffee stick costs in shop just 15 mtrs away 3 pesos. So ended just to buy in shop and gave it back to them. Lastly the hotel has a big sign that it is for sale, for 800k Usd if anybody would like to know. That is definitely a good thing and I hope the new management will be better as there is so many things for improvement. Ohh lastly the terrace on the roof was not finished evem after 2 years and regarding the rooms please be prepared that the back rooms suffer from horrible noise of generator which kept us waking up every morning around 5am. ||Well in nutshell the BORACAY is a beautiful place an Eden on the earth and the white sandy beach and sea unforgettable, but choose other hotel if you want to go there like the neighbours hotel TRUE HOME or the diving centre next...
Read moreBlueLilly Hotel offers the perfect location in Station 1. It is true that it is literally the beach at your doorsteps. We first booked a deluxe double room with no view. However I realised that it’s not worth to stay there if you wouldn’t see the view and so we upgraded to the premiere room. By adding a few more bucks, you’ll have the luxury of a room by the sea! We’ve been to Boracay for more than 10x but this is the first time with BlueLilly. ||Staff are also courteous and kind to accommodate my requests.||Now for what needs to be improved: this hotel is a botique hotel so they do not offer any other things to do. Now that’s given, I think there are still others that can be improved:||1. Breakfast offers simple choices; could be improved by making the menu extra special. I’m not saying add something expensive but the taste of the food can be improved. For example, Corned beef can be upgraded to a better brand. I think if the customer is satisfied with breakfast more people will return.||2. The hotel seem old despite the fact that it’s one of the newest. Curtain rods are rusted in CR, also lacking a soap dish.||3. CR is small but I think that’s acceptable given the size of the room. The door swings in and not out, so it takes space when you’re inside the cr. ||4. It heavily rained the night we stayed. I was surprised to see the floor of our CR be damped with water, soaking the mat wet. There is leakage from the ceiling. I reported this to the resort ASAP.|||Overall I’d rate this hotel 3/5 because I think the hotel offered better facilities when it was new. If given the chance to improve, maintaining the hotel as it was when newly opened,...
Read moreWe are a group of 9 officemates and wanted a beach front resort without breaking the bank. We wanted a Station 1 resort because that means less crowd which was important to us. Almost all of the rooms are also beach front so you wake up and see pristine waters from your room. On a high tide, you just walk for 5 steps from your room and you can swim already. How can you beat that? ||No early check in and no late check out (just follow the rules), there is free breakfast but you can skip it (oily and small quantity), toilet is small but the room is just right for 2 pax. ||Bluelilly is a no-frills quaint hotel. Staff is lean. You don't go there for the facilities or anything like that. It's a very affordable station 1 resort for those who go to Boracay for nature and quiet and to have a beach front accommodation for so much less. It's actually ideal for a big family. Make sure to reserve all the beach front rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors. ||Jona's Milkshakes is only 30 meters to the right and you have a nice view of the grotto from the lounge area on the ground floor. ||Net, we will be back. Thank...
