We stayed at this charming little resort in Boracay back in October 2024, and while the timing of our trip coincided with an unexpected typhoon, the amazing staff truly turned our stay into a memorable experience.||The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, but what really made the trip special was the warmth and genuine hospitality of the staff. From the moment we arrived, they treated us like close friends or family - checking in on us, chatting with us like locals, and always making sure we were comfortable despite the gloomy weather. It made the whole stay feel intimate and personal, which is something you don’t always get at bigger resorts. We also really enjoyed the food and drinks at the hotel - everything we tried was delicious, and we made sure to catch happy hour when we could! The atmosphere was laid-back and welcoming, which made it easy to relax, even with the storm rolling in outside.||While we weren’t able to experience the full beauty of Boracay due to the weather, this resort gave us every reason to come back. We definitely plan to stay here again - hopefully during a sunnier season next time! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy, friendly place with top-notch service and heart. ||-Cons: WiFi was spotty, but we attributed that to the storm...
Read moreI stayed at Watercolours for 5 nights in April 2022 as a solo female traveller and I felt very welcome and safe. All the staff are really friendly and helpful (especially Lyn, Avel, Rolly, Metzi, Jasper) from serving drinks and breakfast, to organising trips, to just having a good chat - everyone wears a smile on their face and it so welcoming! The resort is right on the beach and I stayed in a beachfront room, the balcony was perfect for afternoon relaxing. The air con worked really well, the bathroom was clean, lots of hot water, and a mini fridge so I could buy my own water and drinks. The location is great if you don't want to be right in the middle of the hustle and bustle but only 5 mins walk away from Diniwid beach, the main part of White sands beach, and D mall where there is more food than you will ever need! I did a fun dive with Jimmy which was great and he was so helpful and a decent price for all the equipment hire, we saw lots of underwater life and a turtle too. Food and drink was well priced and the happy hour "party time" is a great way to unwind in the afternoon while watching some of the best sunsets I've ever seen without the immense crowds around you. Overall - 100% recommend, will be back, and...
Read moreWe had a wonderful stay in this hotel. If you want that peaceful, less crowded place, beachfront, but still accessible from the main road and restaurants and bars outside, they’ve got the perfect location (station 1, near willy’s rock). Their staff were all friendly and will make you feel at home. We stayed at the penthouse where we had access at the rooftop terrace/ balcony that is overlooking at the white beach. Their free breakfast comes with a continental set so you may want to upgrade it to other options available from their menu. They can lend you mats which you can use for sunbathing at the beach (while waiting for the sunset). Perhaps the only downside for me, was there’s no readily accessible hot/warm drinking water because they don’t have electric kettles in their rooms. You need to always request from the staff every time you needed one which may take time time. I understand that they’re trying to save energy/ being eco friendly but perhaps they may want to save some spare electric kettles or thermos for guests like me who needed warm water every time. Anyway, we loved our stay at watercolors and I’m considering of going back/ or recommending...
