N & J Lopez Lodging House — Hotel in Pasay

My friend and I checked in here and we were paid until 12noon the next day. I left early but specifically told Belle (the staff) not to wake my friend until 11:30am. Just after I left, Belle knocked on our door at 8:30am to wake my friend and even made up a story that I was the one who instructed her. Belle said that there was another person who made an early booking for the same room even though the room was paid til noon. The room is listed for only Php1200 but Belle charged us Php1500. Had to haggle the price of the room lady almost priced it at 1.5k php until i refused decided to go to a different hotel then she settled for a 1.3k php from the original 1.2k php because it was a family room and i was going solo. Place has no soap or shampoo for me. The place has no true security aside from a manual lock on the door and the place doesnt even have a lobby. You’ll have to pass through slums before you get here. We spent three nights here on my business and I must say that everything was exellent. The location of the hotel is very quite and it was close to my destination and very close to the market which is very good for us. As the room even though its small but it was excellent and surprisingly comfortable. The hot shower is so good the owner is so accomodating as well. I would love to stay here again for my next business trip. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others having business trip. Freda...
