3 stars is kinda mean, but I'll try to explain. First off, my room was clean, had a great mattress/comforter/pillows bed, a split-type aircon, small ref with reasonably priced drinks, a bathroom with very good shower and full range of bodywash/shampoo/conditioner. Even a bowl-built-in bidet. So far so happy. The issues - and I understand that's beyond management's control but still very much influences the total traveling experience - are about the location. Near the airport, yes. 50p Angkas fare going to Terminal 3, 160p Grab fee going from Terminal 3 to the hotel. But in the middle of a squatter area in a sparsely lit side road. No restaurant options nearby, walking to 7-11 felt scary even for a 10-year-ph-veteran And VERY NOISY day and night , that's the main drawback. Screeching metal grinders daytime until evening and barking dogs all night. I've come to accept chicken as part of ph background noise, but a large number of barkative angry dogs just wakes you up again and again. So even the room itself is high comfort for a low-mid-priced hotel, I will not stay there again, because if one thing is important before an early morning flight, it...
Read moreWe only stayed one night here as a layover in Manila, so the location of this hotel was perfect, only 15 minutes from the airport at around 11pm. Our room had twin double beds, and was nice and clean. A few points to consider: on check in we had to pay a 1000p bond, which was refunded to us at check out. clean toilets, shower was surprisingly pleasant. no elevator but staff helped with carrying bags to and from our room. being close to the airport we heard airplanes but generally the hum of the air con covers up the noise. Though in the morning we did hear a local rooster crowing. Complimentary water bottles were provided. staff were friendly and helpful. Check out was at 12pm a short walk to a nearby McDonalds (Note the next day there was so much traffic that we nearly missed our flight, despite being so close to the airport. As an advice, allow at least 3 hours for travel, and longer the further out you are...
Read moreI cancelled my visit well before I was due to stay by emailing the address provided for this purpose. Received absolutely no response, then got a notification the day before check-in saying "booking confirmed1" and that my credit card had been charged. ||I emailed again asking what the hell was going on - why had I not received any confirmation of my cancellation and why had my credit card been charged? I finally received a response - "oh sorry! We didn't read the email!" What kind of business are you running if you don't even read your emails??? They told me that I would be refunded. Two weeks later and I have not been refunded, despite following up several times.||This hotel obviously provides appalling service and runs their operations in a very sloppy, negligent way. I would not recommend booking with them or having anything to...
