Home & Travel Apartments — Hotel in Łódź

My husband and I just adopted our first child after 21 years of marriage. Our emotions were high, and needed as many things to run smoothly as possible. We are glad to report that during such a stressful, yet wonderful time in Poland, we stayed at a most comfortable place in every way. Home & Travel in Lodz is well-run by Agnieska and her staff, Marta, Barbara and the amazing cleaning crew. We stayed 3 different times throughout the two plus months we were there, about 7 1/2 weeks; still setting from the trip and cannot fully recall. We received immediate and friendly service when lights went out or when we needed a change in cleaning schedules among the many accommodating services offered. We also were always greeted with a smile by everyone and treated like royalty. A bonus is we didn't realize we were on the most famous street in Lodz, and also learned we were in the Hollywood of Poland, so it was a bit of a Rodeo Drive feel with superb shops, restaurants and cultural events nearby. We rented two flats. One could sleep 3 persons and one a studio flat for one or two persons. We were 4 friends, 3 Czechs in the large flat , one Norwegian in the studio.
