Authentic Italian cuisine. If you love Italian food the way I do this is so far one of the best places to eat in Gdansk. Nice atmosphere, speedy service, good music and the most important - amazing food. The prices are also very reasonable. Definitely adding on my favourite list while in Gdansk. I was looking for pizza di Parma even in London and was not able to find it at the standard priced restaurant. This means a lot for a foodie person. Not sure why there are so many bad reviews which doesn’t make sense - this location by the riverside always gets busy and if you are not willing to queue up then there are plenty other pubs around with average local food with higher pricing. I had the pleasure of being served by [waitress’s name], and I can honestly say she made my dining experience outstanding. She was friendly, attentive, and always had a warm smile, which immediately made me feel welcome. What stood out most was her professionalism—she managed to be quick and efficient without ever making me feel rushed. She knew the menu well and gave excellent recommendations that turned out to be spot on. Throughout the meal, she checked in at just the right times, making sure I had everything I needed. Small details like remembering my drink preference and engaging in polite conversation really showed that she cares about her guests. I have spent 5 days on a business trip in the nearby hotel. Every day of this stay, I have ordered my dinner to takeaway from this restaurant. The food was very good and well prepared, but on my final day of this trip I was confronted by a server and told that I was paying incorrectly by touching the credit card terminal and that I had been told on my previous visit that this was not allowed. No such previous exchange ever took place. I asked to speak with a manager and she allowed the situation to further escalate to the point where I left and abandoned the food that I had already paid for because I had lost my appetite.
