An Absolute Hidden Gem in Lisbon – 5 Stars PLUS! We stayed at Castello Prime Suites for our trip to Lisbon – and honestly, it was the best decision we could have made. You won’t find a more welcoming, warm, and family-like atmosphere anywhere else. Even before our arrival, we received a WhatsApp message from the team with helpful information and directions from the airport – such a thoughtful touch! When we arrived, our room wasn’t ready yet, but instead of just having us wait, we were immediately offered breakfast and drinks. From the very first moment, we felt comfortable and truly welcomed. Our room was spacious, spotless, with a lovely balcony and a beautiful view over Lisbon’s old town. The bed was super comfortable, the room stayed pleasantly cool (which was perfect for the summer), and we received fresh towels every single day. There was even a small kitchenette with a great fridge – everything was well-equipped and thoughtfully arranged. Breakfast was delicious – simple, fresh, and just what you need to start the day. Plus, the view from the terrace while eating was amazing! The entire team was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. No matter what we asked for – the answer was never “no.” Everything was handled with kindness and a personal touch. The location is central, and the hotel itself is small, cozy, and personal – ideal for those who prefer something more intimate and peaceful over large chain hotels. The value for money is outstanding. We’re already sure: we’ll come back! And everyone in our family or friend circle who’s planning a trip to Lisbon will hear about this hotel from us – it truly deserves all the praise. Thank you for such a wonderful stay – we felt right at home from beginning to end! 🙏❤️

At €162 per night (Saturday night in off season), the price-quality ratio is a scandal. Located in a hard to access, sketchy neighborhood (particularly at night), I would never stay here again. While the view in the morning is beautiful, it does not balance the complications of arriving (especially with luggage), the potential dangers of the neighborhood (especially if arriving at night and alone), and the poor quality of the rooms (at least #16).

One of the best views of the city. Amazing location to visit Lisbons’ downtown. The room was spotless and I really enjoyed the decor and specially the quality of the mattress!. The staff was very helpful and provided all the tips. Breakfast had lots of vegetarians options. Finally: try the spa! You can book it all for yourselves! ❤️ can’t wait to go back! PS- free “pasteis de nata” are available all day long!

We booked what looked fantastic! Until the uber dropped us off, we climbed a frigin mountain of stairs to get there, it wasn’t a great experience when we passed a couple of drunks and stray cats on the stairs.|On arrival it was like Fort Knox trying to get in.|The staff were really friendly and welcoming |On arrival which was nice.||We were offered drinks and custard tarts which was a nice treat.|Unfortunately the apartment was not as we expected, a bit like an ikea showroom / student hostel, however the bed was comfortable with nice linen.|The walls were very thin and you could hear everything including the room above flushing the loo and people in the spa next door.|One of the main reasons we booked was to have a nice view and a swimming pool to relax, there was no swimming pool and the only view was from the communal area, our view was another roof, I know it’s an old building but the property advert was misleading.|The main problem was the area, we really didn’t feel safe!!! Climbing up the stairs with drunks sitting around wasn’t nice, not the property’s fault.||In a nutshell, lovely staff, but not feeling safe and climbing mountains of...

We booked for 3 nights. Despite several requests, our room was never cleaned. One time, housekeeping came around 4 PM to offer to do it, but we had put the "Please make my room" sign out at 9 AM! It was so late that we declined. The pool: we wanted to enjoy it. It had just been cleaned. We were told it was fine to use. Not even 5 minutes later, our eyes were burning terribly due to the chlorine. We got out quickly and complained. After checking, it turned out the cleaning wasn’t finished and the chlorine level was way too high. No one had checked before allowing guests to use it, which is serious and dangerous. We had to consult a healthcare professional because the burning sensation in our eyes persisted long after the experience. It's absolutely shameful. The bathroom sealants were not in great condition, and we found a small dead cockroach in the bathroom. Not great. On the positive side, the bed was of good quality, the view was excellent, and the location is convenient. But the hotel is very expensive for the...
