Portugal Ways Alfama River Apartments — Hotel in Lisbon

that was the worst hotel experience i ever had.My family and i arrived at check in time 2.00pm and found our apartment open(it was self check-in so we proceed directly to the room) with cleaning people inside, that probably just started because every room was dirty and messy(check pics)with ikea bags in the front. to my question why room still not ready cleaning lady responded that she was busy with other rooms and said to leave luggage in the apartment and leave for an hour. I kinda find such service upappropriate, first of all i didn't feel safe to leave my luggage in the open room, second of all i arrived with my grandma who needed a rest before she starts exploring a city, we calculated our arrival time the way she can rest first. furthermore, I left to pick up rest of the luggage and when i came back i found cleaning lady cleaning other rooms, she just dropped cleaning ours thinking i left and prioritized her activity towards other room , although i was very specific about how fast we need it ready. i called their support number where i was advised to send email, what i did. however they never stress themselves to reply back. also few tips if you still decide to stay in this hotel after reading my review keep in mind if you travel with lots of luggage and they provide you with upper floor that can be hard to get it up as there are no elevator and stairs are very steep, electricity in the room go on and off, not enough light overall. the only thing i...

It was the worst experience of my life. Before we arrive, the company sent us the code of another room (becasuse there is no key) so we could actually enter there and there were (obviosly) other people. Immediately we contact Portugal ways and they sent us another code of another room. We could enter there and leave our luggage. After that we left so we could see the city but imagine our surprise when we arrive.... And our things were gone. Two MacBook, our clothes, jewelleries, perfumes, a watch, sneakers... Anyway, someone had enter our room but the door wasn't forced so it must have been with our code. As I said before, at first we've been sent the code from another room so we are sure that our code was sent to anyone else. We called to the company and they told us that they couldn't do anything for us... So we contact the police. While we were waiting a person who works for Portugal Ways, arrived and try to convinced us that it was our fault. Once the police arrive we told everywthing and explained them that someone else have our room code. So... We lost our things and there were no responsability from the company. Besides, there are signs in all the place saying that there are security cameras but that's a lie. We report that to the police too. Until now no one from Portugal Ways...

Lovely apartment in the old town of Lisbon. Clean and well equipped , although I did not use the washer, dishwasher, cooker etc. Nice view from the lounge over the old town and a glimpse of the sea! Bedroom and lounge are spacious and the shower was great after a day sight seeing. The apartment's position is ideal for exploring the older part of the City and has good transport links to everywhere else. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. I have not given 5 stars because of my last night, with a 4a.m. in the morning get up for my flight. It sounded like there was an elephant pacing on my ceiling, and their washing machine running until midnight. I only got to sleep sometime after 1a.m. not ideal for the journey home. A look at the soundproofing would have given an excellent review, as in the peak season these apartments would have...
