Went there for lunch and the service was terrible. We asked for 2 piteca menus which include a Pita and chips, however, the pita was made before the chips so we were ready to leave by the time the chips were ready. I tried to give the employee feedback and was met with someone really defensive who asked me what I expected when the chips took longer to fry. I explained I was not telling her off but just trying to offer feedback that she should deliver the menu together, including the chips, and if it takes longer she could give people a heads-up explaining this, but I did not get the impression she was open to receiving feedback or improving. I will not be returning as the service was bad, I got half my food and had to get the rest to go, and for the quality and presentation of the food not worth the money...

Almost every night during a 15-day visit to Lisbon I would sit here and have a coffee or beer. The Banana Café is open until midnight so it is good for a late evening drink alone or with friends. Every few nights there was loud amplified live electronic music which was not to my liking.
