Hidden tourist attraction. It’s just a ride up and down a hill ( you need to pay each way )but you enjoy the history. If you don’t like to pay for tram trip down the hill , you can take the stairs . Would recommend to have daily pass or public transport card to pay for the rides which you can purchase from tube/ metro stations machine . It will cost you much less...

The tram just takes one up the hill, if you don't want to get exhausted from climbing the hill that leads to Jardim de Torel. The time estimation on the tram is about 60seconds or 90seconds. The elevator leads to the Jardim de Torel a beautiful Scenic place that would be spectacular if visited...

Would recommend the other Elevador options, this one was caught between two buildings the whole way down, so you couldn’t get much of a view or anything other than sitting within the elevador. The others have more of a view from within. And allows the opportunities to take photos with it...
