I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay at Najd Hotel which is part of Tivoli Souq Waqif boutique Hotels group. The experience I encountered was far below the standards expected from such an established hospitality group, and I have to address several significant issues I faced. I made an online reservation, carefully selecting and confirming my rooms. However, upon arrival at Najd Hotel for check-in at 3 PM, only two rooms were visible in their system. This forced me to wait until 5 PM to receive the additional rooms I had already reserved and expected to be ready. The check-in process itself was chaotic. Despite staying at Najd Hotel, I was required to check in at Al Merqab Hotel, located opposite to Najd Hotel. Additionally, breakfast arrangements added to the frustration, as it was served at yet another hotel, Al Jassra, which is a 10-minute shuttle ride away. My family and I had to wait more than 15 minutes for the to arrive, only to be informed upon arrival that my booking did not include breakfast. I then had to go back to Al Merqab Hotel to clarify this, where I was told that breakfast was indeed included and was apologized to for the “miscommunication and they claimed that the system wasn't working .” However, the delays with the shuttle continued, further impacting my stay. Furthermore, the room service was extremely inefficient. They rarely answered calls, and when they did, their response times were unreasonably delayed. For such a reputable establishment, this level of service is simply unacceptable. While I do appreciate the effort by a few staff members, including one of the managers , who tried to assist when they noticed my frustration and they apologized for inconvenience, but this assistance came only after an extended period of unacceptable service. By that time, my experience was already impacted, leaving me quite upset. In summary, my stay was affected by inadequate communication, long waiting times, and poor coordination among the facilities. I would not recommend these hotels to others based on this experience, and I hope this feedback encourages immediate improvements in service and...
Read moreLocated right on the edge of the bustling Souq Waqif, the Najd Boutique Hotel oozes traditional Arabian charm. The hotel is conveniently located at the entrance of the Souq Waqif metro station, which makes it a whole lot easier to access the entire city in a jiffy. |The fascinating interiors transports patrons to an old-world Arabian era. The hotel is immaculately clean and well maintained. Rooms are massive and specklessly tidy with comfortable cushy beds and convenient seating. The bathroom is humongous and hygienic. |However, it was the staff that made the stay even more enjoyable. Saidul from room services ensured that the room was made-up daily and put in all efforts to keep the room spotless. Bikash at the front desk was immensely agreeable and went out of his way to accommodate...
Read moreThe Najd is art of the Souq Waqif hotel group, and as such you benefit from having access to facilities in other hotels. Sadly we did not have enough time to make use of all of that. Our room was wonderfully spacious and well appointed despite being one of the most economical options. This means we had access to the pool in the hotel opposite - literally across the pathway. Breakfast served at another hotel - there is an on demand golf buggy to take you ("bags) between any of the hotels at any time of day or night. The breakfast was superb. All the staff were also without exception really friendly and always ever so helpful. The location is of course excellent. Would not hesitate to book with this group...
