Poarta Schei 18 — Hotel in Zona Metropolitană Brașov

On arrival we were met by the owner who explained particulars of the apartment. It is quite modern with whole-house under-floor heating and mini-split heat pump cooling in the living areas. The two bedrooms are spacious (with king-size beds) as is the living room. The kitchen has a large (for Europe) refrigerator, a dishwasher, a washing machine, microwave and conventional ovens and a ceramic cooktop. There are dishes and service for six and an array of cooking utensils and vessels. There is large full bath (with a very nice shower - with an overhead rain head and handheld unit) and a cozy 1/2 bath. Both bathrooms have heated towel racks. All of the rooms have ample storage and closet space. All rooms (including the kitchen) have flat-panel TVs with remotes. There is a large clothes drying rack.. There are more 220v plugs than is common in many European accommodations. It is a 4-minute walk to the old town square, and the Black Church is just a couple of blocks away. Bran Castle, Peles Castle, the one where the series "Wednesday" was filmed can all be visited in a day. Sighisoara and Sibiu are a bit farther, but accessible by car. Brașov is delightful! PRO: Big, big space, generous rooms All the facilities you need and can think of (dishwasher, one and a half bathrooms, heated floors, toiletries, etc) Very, very, very clean Near restaurants and tourist attractions The host is amazing, really helpful and tends to all your needs
