In May 2011, we stayed for an entire week in this wonderful hotel, located in the very center of St Petersburg. You cannot get any hotel closer to the Hermitage as from this one, I think! Less than 5 mins by foot... The hotel is a little difficult to find, as it is located in the center of a courtyard. The former residence of the music-chapel of the Hermitage, when it was still in use as a palace.||Most of the very friendly hotel-staff spoke English. The rooms were great, big enough, as well as the bathroom. There was a rather small fridge. TV is Russian only, and therefore not used by us. Breakfast was served as buffet, a rather good range of various foods. Nothing special, but OK and always enough. There's a restaurant accessable through the breakfast-room, but I think this does not belong to the hotel itself. There's NO elevator, but the stairs are wide. All together, we (a group of 6) had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. I would definately recommend this hotel and I may return here in 2 years. When I checked out, the maid came running after me and handed me my necklace that I had forgotten on the bedside-table... isn't it GREAT ??!! Thank...

Would you be so kind to replace terrible ISP(s) with quality...
Read moreWe considered many places when we were planning our visit and decided to go with this property because it seemed to be pretty well located and the cost was reasonable and better than many we had looked at. Turns out that the location is actually about perfect as a lunching point for all the key things you want to see in St. Petersburg. Add in that the hotel is in an inner courtyard, making it nice and quiet, and you are right in the thick of things with a quiet place to get a good night's rest.||||The rooms were very clean and the bathrooms seemed fairly recently redone and nice. Room was spacious, but beds were pretty small in our room. The breakfast was very good and reasonable. Hotel staff did not speak English that well, but we managed to get by just fine. ||||All in all, this was a great place to stay for the price and a perfect place to stay for the location. We highly...
