Hotel Joli San Marino — Hotel in City of San Marino

We arrived much earlier than the check-in time, and to our surprise, our room was already ready. The staff didn’t make a fuss — they simply welcomed us and accommodated us right away. Everyone we met throughout our stay was incredibly friendly and helpful (from recommendations to where to park, where to get cheaper fuel, etc).

The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped: convenient plugs by the bed, a fresh and clean atmosphere, minibar, good TV, plenty of space to hang clothes, safe box, hangers, and AC (which we didn’t even need to use). The bathroom was also spacious with great water pressure in the shower. Everything was spotless.

Wi-Fi worked perfectly everywhere, and the breakfast (included) was excellent — warm scrambled eggs (which I rarely find warm at hotels!), good coffee from the machine, or you can ask the barista for an excellent and fresh better one.

The location couldn’t be better — just steps from the historical center, close to parking lots, restaurants, bars, grocery stores, and souvenir shops.

The only small downsides were a bit of smoke smell from lower floor balconies (due to other guests smoking) and that I wasn’t clearly informed in advance that the parking lot was going under construction — there was a note near reception, but it was easy to miss.

On the plus side, the hotel provided us with discount cards for San Marino attractions and even a free drink at the restaurant next door!

Overall, the quality and service went far beyond what you’d expect from a 3-star hotel.

We stayed at this hotel after we were going back from Rimini visited this very nice small country Republic of San Marino🇸🇲. The location is very central as it’s located in the walking distance of the old town of San Marino. The parking was a big pro as there is every parking 🅿️ has been fully occupied on the top of mountain so we were lucky to pay 12€ per day for hotel parking which is also located in the walking distance.

The receptionist a young women was very friendly and helpful who walked through everything. Had a smooth and early check in and they also gives you a San Marino tourist card which you can use in museums and many shops for discounts. They also have the leaflet of San Marino tourism. The hotel offers you a breakfast buffet for 10€ per person which we didn’t try. But also they have a restaurant downstairs and we have had a pizza and it was very good. The staff at restaurant also very welcoming and friendly.

The Room was surprisingly spacious and had a big window with nice panoramic view. The bathroom also was very chic and spacious. The room was clean and had air condition and Mini fridge aswell.

Overall the hotel is worth the money we paid and I recommend...

Pleasantly surprising. Location is great being only 400m from great food and shopping that San Marino offers for the price we were pleasantly surprised.

As a family of four we expected the standard two doubles but we ended up with two singles and a double bed in separate living areas for some privacy for both us and our teens

The restaurant offers a good selection of breakfast options. The staff are friendly and attentive.

Only down points were the bed mattress needs some cover over a couple of stings and the walls are a little thin from the honeymooners next door.

But overall a pleasant stay for the price, service and location. I would recommend here if passing through or only staying one...
