Not exactly on the “hip” area but close enough if peace and quiet are what you’re after. It’s a 15-minute walk to the Hongdae district or the Hongik Station and taxis are easy to find once you walk out to the main street. || ||Located on the top floor of a beautiful brick residential building, Lee Kang Ga was easy to find. We just followed the thorough instruction complete with photos and costs that were emailed to us upon booking. The rooftop, where the kitchen and dining area is, is a cozy place to hang around and meet up with other guests and staff after a day of travelling. Simple and tasty breakfasts are served here from 8-10am. Unlimited tea, juice, coffee, milk and cereal is available all day.||||The room, although lacks side tables and lamps for reading, is comfortable and sufficient in other ways. The one thing I especially love is its heated floor. The bathroom is snug but efficient. It has everything from shampoo to toothpaste and enough shelves to put other toiletries. ||||The friendly staff and owner are the key value to this guesthouse. Andy and Roomy are like family and very accommodating. If available, the owner would offer to drive us to the subway station. It was raining on the day of our departure and we requested for a ride, the owner was busy but made sure someone brought us to the station.||||Highly recommended and one of the few that I will consider...

Tea, coffee, cold drinks, and snacks are available at any time. ||||The owner is very helpful, and the staff, Atji and all her assistants are wonderful, welcoming, helpful and friendly. ||||The guest house is located a 15 minute walk from Hongik University Station and from the Hongdae district. It is up a lane about 50 metres from the main street. Taxis and buses are available on the main street. There are plenty of eating places in the main street and even more in the...
Read moreWe just stayed overnight yet our experience was pleasant. Initially, we got lost trying to find the place because the website direction was different from the actual. Thankfully, there was a Korean man who helped us to find the place. Lee Kang Ga is a cozy place to stay and pleasant too. The staff are helpful and speaks good English too. Our room had a balcony, spacious, and clean. The toilet/bath is also clean and complete with tissue, shampoo, body wash, and toothpaste. The room design is similar to a traditional Korean home but inside a modern building with passcodes. American breakfast is available in the rooftop and you can use it anytime you want. Our overall stay at Lee Kang Ga was a memorable one and a perfect cap off for our last...
