Nungmaru Guesthouse — Hotel in Seoul

The location is good by walking is less than 10mins from Station Myeongdong Exit 2, but the direction map the staff send to us is further, you should take another way by walking to the guesthouse.||||Room is rather small and not really value for the money I had paid. There is no fridge in my room and hardly to put luggage. I had confirmed with AGODA two double rooms (Queen Size Bed) but when we checked in the staff arrange two twin rooms for us, and he say AGODA did not tell them. However I manage to get the room type I wanted and I informed AGODA. I am NOT SATISFY for this arrangement because both party - the owner said he had show me the Double Room but I do not want it, it is not true at all!! Then, AGODA deny is their mistake that they did not inform the owner correctly the room type we wanted.||||The owner is not friendly. Never smile and always show black face to us. We had requested to clean up the room everyday but they never do it and when we get back to our room and realize nothing has been done, they only told us that the cleaner is off and many other excuses. Then, the staff quickly change the towels and make up the room for us immediately with no apologize! They are very free watching TV at the lobby and they should had make up the room for us before we are back.||||We are very nice to the owner and staff and share our food with him and no thank you mentioned at all. We wonder is this the culture of Korean...?||||We do not feel welcome to this guesthouse and will not recommend to anyone. Another good of staying here is...

We stayed here for 9 days 8 nights for our very first trip to Korea. First impression is so many Malaysians are here during our stay, make us feel home in alien land. For Malays who doesn't understand or speak Korean, you can find freelance Malaysians who can assist you with ground arrangements here with minimal fees (you really need them as Korean doesn't speak English & signages are all in Korean characters). You can also rent pocket wifi, or "egg" here with refundable deposit of KRW100k and charge of KRW5k per day from the owner. Premise wifi is fantastic with speed in excess of 30mbps (anyway Korea has the fastest internet speed in the world).|Breakfast, nothing fantastic to shout about, just coffee and toast is provided but you can cook or heat your food here. Very clean as the owner is meticulous type of person. Free first time laundry, so make sure you max it out. Just a stroll walk, you can reach the Myeong Dong subway door 3. Leisure walk of about 10 minute to the famous myeong dong shopping area and about 15 minutes walk to namdaemun.|You won't regret your stay, but room may be a bit small. We stayed in triple room for 4 nights. The room is not too small. We can change towels by ourselves everyday. It is breakfast inclueded like fresh milk and bread with butter and jam. You can take an Airport bus No.6015 from the airport (costs 10,000NTD.) for an hour. You take off at Myeongdong station, the last station, and walk to the hotel for 5 minutes. It is also one minute walk to minimart, five minutes walk to Myeongdong and subway station. Staff can speak English very well. You can rent pocket wifi from hotel only 5000ntd per day.
