Great hotel, great location, great staff. This hotel is perfectly located on the Ramblas strip. Restaurants, shops, the market, are all conveniently located to this hotel. We had a room on the 6th floor with a terrace that overlooked the action below and had a stunning view of the Park at Tibidabo on the mountain beyond. The only downside was that the 7th floor terrace, spa and bar area was closed during our stay which was a disappointment but what can you do. The room was roomy with a decent sized bathroom. Of all the locations we stayed during our trip, this location had the nicest and most relaxing bathtub for a nice soak at the end of the day. The windows and terrace double doors offer floor to ceiling draps and powered retractable black out curtains which was a nice touch. The bed was comphy and the couch and desk area were adequately spaced for work and comfort. The ac was a bit tricky but ultimste kept the room comfortable. But it lacked the power to keep the room cool throughout the day.(this was with following the rules of windows and doors closed) The hotel had a restaurant on-site that seemed like it would have great sushi but sadly the only day we tried to order they were closed (national holiday-our bad timing lol) the waiting room was also very nice and convenient for when we were transferring from one hotel to an Airbnb and need to kill some time. Overall, this hotel was perfect for being close to the action and offering comfort and style. We loved the terrace which offered us a front seat for night time action below - street dancing, a March for equal rights, and national day parade - as well as just a nice place to relax outside while maintaining some privacy and comfort. If you're in this area, check out this hotel and request a room on the 6th floor with terrace!

Stay at a different hotel. The hotel is very very dusty. Our sink and our bathtub did not drain properly. They do not provide face towels. Staff, while are lovely, do not have any training on keeping guests safe. There was an argument between two guests and instead of security jumping in the staff just stared. The fight was between a massive bloke and his girlfriend. She kept shouting for him not to touch her and not on staff member didn’t anything. I stepped between them until police and security got there. Nearly 15 minutes of tango dancing them around the lobby to keep them apart. This all happened in front of my 12 year old son. Food at the hotel was horrendous. So expensive and seriously not worth 2€. Food kept running out and we waitress ages for uncooked food to be brought out. Definitely stay elsewhere. As a reply to the message below, the bellwoman identified herself at security & stated that she had a gun. Additionally it is a complete LIE that any member of staff attempted to separate the couple. I suggest you look at the cctv to see all staff members present starting from behind the desk - not one tried. If they did I wouldn’t have had to step in. The woman was screaming for the man not to touch her and every staff member there just stood back and watched him trying to grab her which is when I stepped between them and successfully kept him from touching her until police arrived.

If you’re looking for a sign to stay at this hotel, this is it! I was initially hesitant about booking Hotel SERHS due to some reviews mentioning noise from the crowds on La Rambla. However, I’m so glad I gave it a chance. We stayed for 2 nights in a La Rambla view room with a balcony. To my surprise, the stay was incredibly quiet and peaceful. Once the balcony door was shut, we couldn’t hear any noise from outside. On our last night, the staff surprised us with complimentary wine. In my video, you’ll notice the wine was non-alcoholic. Since we don’t drink, we informed them, and they happily brought us cappuccinos instead. The staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. One of the highlights is that you can order breakfast to enjoy on your terrace. Unfortunately, it was too cold during our visit to have breakfast on the balcony, but the idea of it sounds amazing and would be perfect for a warmer day. The hotel also features a rooftop restaurant, which adds to the charm. Overall, it’s a very affordable 4-star hotel right on La Rambla and a fantastic place to stay. Highly recommend!

This hotel was absolutely a steal and much better than I anticipated. I would absolutely stay here again. ||For most of our hotel stays, we went super budget friendly….but for this stay, we decided to splurge a bit and it was worth it ($260 a night). Please keep in mind we stayed here twice; once at the beginning of our trip for four nights, then we went to Croatia and came back for two more nights. ||For the first leg, we were greeted by Joan, and for our second leg of the trip, we were greeted by Maria and Marela upon arrival; all three were friendly, checked us in fast, and had a great smile! Thanks for making us feel at home. ||We received a coupon both stays for a complimentary glass of cava which we used at the rooftop bar. Both bartenders we had (forgot their names) are very nice and make great cocktails. ||The rooms are very nice, spacious and clean. I was actually very surprised bc most hotels in Europe can be small; the rooms here are more like the size of rooms in the U.S. Before coming back for the second leg, I emailed the hotel to see if I could stay in the same exact room we had for the first leg, but they were not able to accommodate my request. Instead, they upgraded us to a SUITE! Oh, each stay, they also give you a complimentary bottle of red wine which was yummy! ||There is also a small gym. No one was ever there but us, so it was perfect. There are three machines (one treadmill, one bike, one elliptical) along with some free weights.||For security, you need your room key to operate the elevator. ||The hotel is located on La Rambla and is walking distance to everything imaginable. Designer shopping area is about a 15-20 min walk, the boqueria/market is a 4-min walk. There are train stations on just about every corner. You are surrounded by a bunch of good eats within a 7-12 min walk. ||If you want to uber or cabify, don’t request pickup at the hotel bc most will not want to pick up in this busy area. We just walked out to an area that is more open for pickups; we would often walk to Zara on Pelai (there are Zaras everywhere but this was the closest one about 2 mins from hotel). Here, there is a wide area where cabs and ubers/cabifys do their pickups. ||Anyway, this hotel was great! I would definitely...

my wife and i stayed here arriving on the 12th of aug and departing on the 16th of aug. When we received our room(606) there was water pouring from the ceiling in the bathroom down the walls. We called reception and they sent a maintenance man who started disconnecting piping overhead after 15 mins he said it was fixed. Then we realised the toilet was not working so i went to reception who said they would fix the toilet as soon as possible and this was at 4.20pm .

we had got the room at 3.45 pm i refused this and my wife and i demanded to be moved after much arguing at reception we were moved to 612. This was half the size of our original room and we refused this after waiting another 20 mins we were moved to room 302 but the reception staff member stated he would have to check if the room was clean.

He made a call and stated it was clean at this stage we just wanted a room. When we got to the room the beds were made but the room was dirty the walls beside the bed were black, the bathroom walls were black and the floor outside the bath was damaged and dangerous and the bath and shower were not cleaned so we cleaned them ourselves!

There was a knock on our door and it was the porter (mr ashraf mohammed) with a bottle of wine and fruit platter to apologise for all the trouble we had. I would like to add that mr ashraf was so helpful during our stay along with one member of reception staff mr david martin we dealt with other staff when we first arrived with all the issues we had who were not helpful.ily

We didnt not report room 302 as at this stage we had wasted hours and just put up with it. We have stayed numerous times in barcelona in various hotels and this was by far the worst bear in mind this is a 4 star hotel! and was not cheap.

We are extremely dissapointed as it affected our holiday.
