This is a brand new hotel . The location is perfect , close to everything, but at the same time nestled in an area where you can feel the serenity and tranquility they offer. The rooms are beautiful , comfortable and big to Madrid standard. Our room had a balcony facing Calle Sevilla and we could not hear a sound when windows were closed . However the AC was not to our standard. The thermostat only goes down to 20 C and it does not show the temperature of the room , and although 20C should be 68F , I can assure you the room was extremely hot . We had to ask several times for someone to internally adjusted or supply us with fans but after the 3rd request it was done (very thankful for that ). The restaurant QU was beautiful with the upmost service , delicious wine and cocktails , however I was not impressed with the food specially being a Michelin restaurant. As far as the service I would like to specially thank Fernando and Danny who were always cordial and attentive to our needs, Ronnie at the bar , always serving with a smile and making sure we had the best cocktails and wine .Seidmun and Federico , what amazing young boys ! So polite and helpful at all times , all the girls at the front desk as well. The only person who was not welcoming , polite or courteous was Mr. Soyful. I am not sure if he was annoyed with me because I had ask for an upgrade being Silver Elite Bonvoy Members , which he granted (very thankful for that ) or because we had use points to pay for our stay. He never once said good morning , ask how our stayed was or even cracked a smile . I feel as a front desk manager he should be the first one to make the guest feel welcomed. But all in all this place is amazing and I am planning to go back very soon.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the JW Marriott in Madrid, and I can't say enough about how wonderful the experience was. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make sure my stay was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel itself is stunning—elegant, luxurious, and perfectly located in the heart of Madrid. The rooms were beautifully appointed, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities I could have hoped for. Every detail, from the plush bedding to the well-thought-out layout, contributed to an incredibly comfortable stay. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the outstanding service. Every member of the staff I encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to ensure that my needs were met. Whether it was offering personalized recommendations for local attractions, arranging transportation, or just greeting me with a warm smile each day, the staff's attention to detail and commitment to excellence made a lasting impression. I also had the pleasure of dining at the hotel’s restaurant, and the experience was equally impressive. The food was delicious, with a diverse menu that showcased the best of Spanish cuisine, and the service was impeccable. Overall, my stay at the JW Marriott Madrid was exceptional in every way. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable experience in Madrid. The combination of elegant accommodations and top-notch service makes it a true gem in the city. I can't wait to return!

A Mixed Experience at JW Marriott Madrid I recently had the opportunity to stay at the JW Marriott in Madrid, which just opened in February 2023. The hotel is situated in the heart of the city, making it an ideal choice for travelers who want to explore the vibrant culture and attractions Madrid has to offer.Upon arrival, I was impressed by the hotel's top-notch facilities and well-thought-out room design. The decor was modern and luxurious, making for a highly comfortable stay. The amenities were also quite satisfactory, ensuring that guests have everything they need for an enjoyable stay. However, despite its promising appearance and facilities, the service at the JW Marriott Madrid was a letdown. For a hotel that prides itself on being a 5-star establishment, the staff's performance was underwhelming. From making mistakes to not actively listening to guests' concerns, it was clear that the service quality did not match the high standards one would expect from a hotel of this caliber. I encountered an issue in my room that affected my sleep quality. There was an annoying green blinking sensor on the ceiling, which made it difficult to sleep in complete darkness. This may seem like a minor detail, but it can be quite bothersome for guests who are sensitive to light and require a pitch-black environment for a good night's rest.

Great location & amazing staff!

I lived at the JW while in Madrid and recommend staying in a rooftop suite on 7th floor, those have the rooftop terraces you see in their photos.

Suites aren't exactly large, but they are very nice with huge walk-in showers & a separate soaking tub. Very little drawer space to unpack your suitcases (if that's important for you).

Suite Canelas & Jr Suite #703 are the 2 suites with the best terraces. #703 has the highest terrace, so it's the most private. #703 is simply 1 large room (no separate living or dining room, no dressing area) and it's listed at around 600 or 700 sq ft. You're paying for the private rooftop terrace, which is prob 350 to 400 sq ft in size and is amazing to relax on. Very quiet, large cushioned lounge furniture, and the sun shines on it all day long

JW location is perfect. Most of the streets in this area are pedestrian only, so very easy to walk everywhere . Fixed rate €33 for taxi from airport, don't bother with Uber.

Taxis are lined up outside the JW front door waiting 24 hrs a day. The doorman will call one over and instruct the driver on your destination.

Laundry service was superb and their concierge desk will take care of anything you need. 24 hour room service. Breakfast is €45 per person and the dining room staff is top notch. Otherwise there are small cafes for breakfast , lunch, dinner within a 2 or 3 minute walk.

JW is quaint (compared to the Four Seasons directly across the street which has massive multi-level lobby with a bar & restaurants) & JW has an luxury boutique hotel vibe. Lobby is comfortable to relax and quiet place to chill. No kids and no idiots at the JW's price point.

The hotel manager knew my name and she introduced herself to me within an hour of my arrival as I walked through the lobby. JW has their front desk staffed, doorman, attendants, and lobby security 24 hrs a day.

I booked direct and paid cash. Laundry service was prob €200 after a week of laundry for 2 people, and that allows us to travel light and not check any luggage. Room service menu has good choices, service is quick, and costs were low.

Every hotel has its pros & cons, but I don't nit pick about the minutiae. I'm happy to pay a premium when the staff & manager are on point. You can live at the JW for a week or two and not have to worry about anything. I will live here again on my next visit because of the amazingly convenient location, the professional & courteous staff, and for the rooftop...

Visited July 2023.

During my recent stay at this hotel, I had a truly delightful experience that I can’t help but share. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Carlos at the door. His impeccable service and genuine smiles made us feel immediately welcome and set the tone for our entire stay.

Upon check-in, we were pleasantly surprised when the receptionist accommodated our request for an early check-in and even provided us with an upgraded room. This level of attentiveness was a fantastic start to our trip, and we appreciated the extra effort to make our room available ahead of schedule.

Throughout our stay, the entire hotel staff was simply amazing. Whether it was the housekeeping team keeping our room spotless or the concierge offering his service, everyone seemed genuinely dedicated to making our stay memorable.

The hotel room itself surpassed our expectations. Spacious, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities we needed, it truly felt like a home away from home but with a better balcony view. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after a day of exploring the city.

The hotel’s location was also ideal, providing easy access to various attractions and restaurants. Whether we wanted to explore the local culture or unwind in the city’s vibrant atmosphere, everything was within reach.

As our trip came to an end, we were left with a feeling of satisfaction and gratitude for the exceptional hospitality we received. Carlos’ warm greetings at the door, the accommodating check-in experience, the overall friendliness and professionalism of the staff, and the pleasant surprises in our room made this stay truly special.

In conclusion, I can wholeheartedly say that this hotel offers a great overall experience, and I would not hesitate to return in the future. The impeccable service, comfortable rooms, and welcoming atmosphere truly make it stand out. If you’re looking for a memorable stay in this city, I highly recommend considering this hotel for...
