This hotel had an amazing view! The first thing I do in hotels is look out the windows to see what kind of view I got. This one was stunning! The accommodations were good. The hotel was affordable and it included breakfast in the morning. I would recommend staying here while in Grindelwald. Tip: Check in at the main building across the street. Excellent service, Nicole and Andres are very kind and helpful. North Europe styling room. It is sparkling clean. The shower is perfect with instant hot water and high pressure faucet. Size is reasonable is this price range. Stunning and breathtaking view from the room day and night. In the clear sky night, you can see stars and take a photo of Milky Way from the balcony. 5-8 minutes away from Grindelwald railway station as well as the supermarket. Rooms were good and clean but absolutely disappointed by their breakfast service. Ladies serving the breakfast were hostile and did not bother to ask if we needed anything. They took order for 2 boiled eggs and couldn’t serve it until 30 minutes. On telling them that I couldn’t wait anymore as I had to catch train, they bluntly told me to go to the kitchen and get the eggs out of the machine myself! I believe no guest would want to hear that at the start of their trip to Jungfrau. Would never recommend this...
