One of the staff is very rude!!!i was in this restaurant yesterday night and went in and there was no one was in the queue to order but there was some people outside counter taking drinks from the refrigerator,so I assume that no one was ordering and I went to ask do they have vegetarian fried rice the man in counter (is nice person)ask another staff or chef who is Afghan or Indian (rude staff)who standing little far from the counter about the fried rice so I went to him to enquire about the fried rice ,he rudely told me “ you must wait in the queue “I think he doesn’t have manners to talk customers!!i m just enquiring about the food and he talk to me very rudely like chasing me out of the shop!!I told him we just enquiring about the food not ordering the food to wait in the queue and I don’t see anyone in the queue ordering any food!!we just come out and we don’t wants to come to this shop again!!come on we are tourist and we comes to Switzerland often the locals are very polite and helpful!but this staff in this restaurant is very rude and no manners !!this the way you treat and talk to your...
Read moreI visited Tea n Take Away on a Friday late night after a long flight into Zurich and a tiring drive to Grindelwald. I was exhausted and hungry, so I placed my order with very clear instructions about the ingredients because I have food allergies. Unfortunately, when my food arrived, it contained additional toppings I specifically asked to avoid.
When I politely raised this with the staff, they told me “this is how the dish is always done” and dismissed my concern, even though I had made it clear in advance. Instead of helping, they argued and became rude. I stayed calm — you never want to argue with people handling your food — but I left feeling very upset and unwelcome.
The food itself was okay, but the place could be cleaner and the service and attitude were unacceptable. I left feeling worse than when I arrived, which says it all.

Read moreThey seemed to need cash because when we tried paying they said the card machine didn’t work and when we said it’s ok we’ll go somewhere else the card machine started working again Was charged for a beer when we did not order one and told them the mistake. They said we were wrong and we asked for one. We ordered food and were sitting down in the restaurant. Once our food was ready we were going to eat there and the guy said that we couldn’t because they were extremely busy. All tables outside were open and there were only 2 tables taken inside. We thought he was joking. He didn’t let us eat there as a paying customer. Was very weird. After we ordered we saw the workers drop 2 chicken nuggets on the floor, pick them up, look at each other, and then put them back on the plate and serve them to the other customers that ordered it.
