Hotel is with good quality of furniture and established very well with good location. This is all.||I think that this is the only positive point, but there are multi points about it,|1- Location is good on a small hill, but it is far 15 -20 minutes walking from bus station so If you have your luggage with you it will be tiring to get up walking as the hotel is up so you will suffer hard walk and fast heart beats .|After checking in, the hotel is not offering any help to drop you down in bus station ( 4-5minutes by car - 15-20 minutes walk ) so you are forced to walk unless you have your car. Also not offering any help once you arrive the area coming from other town or city by bus and you have your luggage for checking in. Be ready here for strong sport holding it up and walking long, up to 20 minutes.|2- Actually, I reached there very tired and sweating a lot, even temperature was low, but because of walking long distance holding my luggage with family coming from bus station to the hotel. Upon arrival to hotel they didn't offer any water or any help even to get my luggage up to rooms. In addition to that reception asked me to write all data of me and my family with all details on tablet by myself even I was exhausted and so tired. |I have asked reception help but she refused!|So my family help to write all data and I felt too much disappointed. |3- Staff there is serious not smiling at all. You feel that they are the guests and you are the one who will offer help! |I felt there toxic ambience.|4- Once got our rooms we were surprised that no slippers, tooth brush or coffee. They asked money to provide!|5- They informed us that there is complimentary coffee break and cake every day 4-5.30 pm. So we got lobby area to relax this breaktime, but we were surprised that cake was not fresh and we have to pay for coffee!|6- Hotel is not busy at all and few clients were there as I have noticed but I was surprised that they were mentioning on booking that sold out, but next day they will make offer to book and repeat again on booking application. |*You can check some photos attached with this rate of semi empty restaurant and reception almost always no one there so you have to call loudly so someone will offer help. Even few cars out in parking area.|7- Location is good as I mentioned but almost there is bad smell coming from cows around especially at night. |Not only that, but every day at 5 pm it was strong noise from like a military training camp around so you can hear too much noise up to 6.30 pm. You can hear that in attachment video.|8- In our rooms TV not working at all. No channels and no YouTube or whatever. It seems to be like decoration. Also no AC or even fan!|9- Next morning I've waked up early because of strong sun light coming from the roof window which no one of hotel team inform us that it was a switch to open and close which I've discovered myself.|10- We asked for room cleaning while my family was there but we were shocked that lady came with little stock to replace like towels but no vacuum had been used at at!|Even they didn't apply any other moisturizer as replacement to one which we used. |11- In my stay there I have visited the city Grindelwald and was charged for transportation, but upon asking hotel on next day telling them that other hotels In Interlaken offering free transportation, then the reception told me that I can get here free also, but I was surprised why they didn't inform me upon arrival on first day or by email before checking in as other hotels doing.|Staf seems to be serious not friendly and not cooparative with gloomy faces. |12- Entrance not clean on the right side as you see by photo seems to be like storage area!|This is my...

Read moreMy recent stay at Hotel Kirchbühl Superior left much to be desired. Despite the hotel's decent location and beautiful exterior scenery, the service provided was highly disappointing. I feel compelled to share my negative experience on Google Maps to caution potential guests.
1.Unprofessional Attitude of a Male Staff Member: One particular male service staff member displayed a consistently poor attitude and showed a lack of patience. However, his demeanor suddenly changed when he realized he had made an error with our room number. Such inconsistency in behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the hotel's professionalism.
2.Offensive and Discriminatory Remarks by a Female Server: During my eating in the hotel's restaurant, I personally experienced offensive and discriminatory remarks. After placing my order and explicitly stating that I did not wish to share my meal, I was subjected to derogatory comments about being the first non-sharing Asian person the server had encountered. Such discriminatory language is entirely unacceptable, disrespectful, and has no place in any establishment.
Lack of Apology and Cold Attitude in the Restaurant: During a meal at the hotel's restaurant, I ordered a bowl of soup which, to my horror, contained a bug. After calling the attention of a server, they replaced the soup without offering any apology. The server's attitude was cold and indifferent, further exacerbating the already unpleasant experience. Such a lack of accountability and empathy from the staff is completely unacceptable.
4.Neglectful Customer Service at the Internal Shop: My experience at the hotel's internal shop was equally frustrating. Despite several attempts to seek assistance at the front desk regarding payment, I was left unattended for an extended period of time. To make matters worse, a new guest who arrived after me was promptly served, leaving me feeling neglected and undervalued as a customer. In conclusion, despite the favorable location and appealing external surroundings, Hotel Kirchbühl Superior fails to deliver satisfactory service. The incidents I encountered during my stay left me perplexed and dissatisfied. I sincerely hope that the management takes these criticisms seriously and takes immediate action to address these issues. Improving staff behavior, promoting inclusivity, and providing prompt and attentive customer service are crucial steps to ensure the reputation of the hotel.
