The hotel delivers an impressive experience with top-tier amenities and polished presentation. The pool area stands out—beautifully maintained with two pools and a hot tub. However, both pools were extremely warm, lacking the refreshing coolness you'd typically expect.
Inside, the hotel adds thoughtful touches like a complimentary drink and candy bar, which really sets it apart. The lower level features a spacious recreation room, complete with a dedicated kids’ play area. Breakfast is served buffet-style in the scenic upstairs restaurant, which, while only open in the morning, offers a satisfying and well-rounded start to the day.
The staff were friendly and accommodating. Although communication could be a bit challenging at times, Google Translate smoothed things over without much trouble. The rooms were generously sized and came with some great perks, like free drinks in the mini fridge and a complimentary welcome snack.
The biggest drawback was the beds—they were extremely firm, which made it hard to get a good night’s sleep. Between that and the overly warm pools, there’s room for improvement. Still, aside from those points, the hotel offered a fantastic stay and...
Read moreWe stayed here for three nights and had a very pleasent stay. Nicely decorated and very clean rooms with a big and modern bathroom. Location was very good, the night market about 100 meters away, 500 meters to the ocean (no swimming but a nice path along the beach) and close to the central parts of Hualien. About 10 mins with taxi from the train station.||The staff was very attentive, friendly and service-minded, they really wanted you to enjoy the stay. ||Breakfest was fresh and nice, mainly oriented towards Asian food but with options for a more western taste (fruit, cereal, toast, coffee).||The wi-fi was great, coverage was very good and so was the speed.||A nice touch was that after the first morning we were provided a Taiwanese newspaper in English rather than Mandarine without us having asked for it. Such small things are appreciated and really makes you feel that the hotel staff pays attention to the small things as well.||Highly recommended for a...
Read moreThis place is fine. The view out the window is pleasant when you get past the train tracks. Pros: The front desk employees were very kind and helpful. While the hotel itself is a few years past it’s prime but the pools! It was quite cold when we stayed here but all of the pools were warm and clean. On the main patio, there is a hot tub and a larger pool. On the lower deck, there is another hot tub and pool, both of which are a bit cooler. No on-site parking but you do get to experience a car elevator about a block away which is something.
Cons: The bed was not the most comfortable…especially if you are sleeping next to someone as you can feel every movement they make. A train track is just on the other side of the fence from the hotel and you can hear and feel it passing. The room smelled damp and musty
Tidbit: They serve traditional...
