L Nimman Boutique Hotel: A Mixed Bag in Chiang Mai's Trendiest NeighborhoodLocated in the heart of Chiang Mai's vibrant Nimmanhaemin area, L Nimman Boutique Hotel offers a budget-friendly option for travelers seeking a prime location without breaking the bank. Situated next to the popular Roast8ry Coffee Flagship Store, this 3-star hotel provides easy access to the area's numerous cafes, restaurants, and shops.Pros1. Location: The hotel's position in Nimmanhaemin is unbeatable. You're within walking distance of countless dining options, trendy boutiques, and local attractions.2. Value for Money: With rates under 1,500 baht per night, it's an affordable choice in an otherwise pricey neighborhood.3. Comfortable Rooms: While not spacious, the rooms are well-appointed and cozy. The beds are notably comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.4. Cleanliness: The guest rooms are impeccably clean, reflecting the hotel's commitment to hygiene standards.5. Staff: The hotel personnel are friendly and attentive, providing good service throughout the stay.Cons1. Public Restroom Issues: The most significant drawback was the state of the first-floor public restroom. On both occasions I used it, I encountered extremely unsanitary conditions, with unflushed toilets. This experience was deeply unpleasant and affected my overall stay negatively. The contrast between the cleanliness of the guest rooms and the state of the public restroom was stark and disappointing. This issue was so disturbing that it impacted my appetite for several days after the incident. It's worth noting that I reported this problem to the staff during check-out, hoping for improvement in the future.Despite this significant issue, the hotel's other positive aspects still make it a contender for future stays. The combination of its prime location, comfortable rooms, and budget-friendly rates are strong selling points. However, the management needs to address the cleanliness and maintenance of public areas, particularly the restrooms, to ensure a consistently positive experience for all guests. In conclusion, L Nimman Boutique Hotel has the potential to be a go-to budget option in Chiang Mai's trendiest area. If they can resolve the cleanliness issues in their public spaces, it could easily become a top choice for travelers seeking affordability without sacrificing location or basic comforts. As it stands, it's a mixed experience that requires careful consideration...
Read moreWe stayed here for 6 nights and paid 12 400 baht (no deposit required). They state that they are 5 star hotel, but in my mind it's more like a 4 star hotel. The rooms are ok (14 sqm) and clean and the hotel provide everything you need in terms of soap, shampoo, conditioner, tooth brushes and so on. The beds were actually comfy and less hard than standard stone hard beds that hotels offer in general. The best sleep nights I actually had it at this hotel. Nimmanhaemin is a hot place right now and the location of the hotel is perfect if you wanna explore the area. Everything is in 5-10 minutes walking distance to hipster cafes, deli, bakery, burger place, good local restaurants, bars etc. I think this hotel provides better value than hotels located in the old town. Another plus of the hotel is that they offer pick up service to and from the airport free of charge. Send an email.to the hotel with arrival time and flight number, then a driver will meet you up at the airport. It only takes 7 minutes to the hotel. We didn't order any breakfast with our reservation, but the hotel provided us with free breakfast during our stay for some reason. The food is pretty usual standard western breakfast. But the local thai style breakfast with Khao soi, glutinous rice and skewers were much better than the western breakfast. If you want good coffee, try Flour Flour or Roxpresso in the neighbourhood (see my postings on google reviews of these places and many more around Nimman). One down side is that airplanes passes by the hotel 300 meters away. The traffic starts about 8 am and ends about 12 pm in the evening. We weren't too bothered with air traffic, but for some people it can be disturbing I guess. The hotel provides good value for the money, its clean and beds are softer than standard hotels and the location is perfect on Nimmanhaemin. The staff don't speak english, but you can make your self understood if it's simple requests or question. Most of the clientele were chines and seem to speak mandarin better than english. I recommend this hotel if you are going...
Read moreI just stayed here for one night. It is because I have shifted to another hotel outside the city of Chiang Mai on the next day. So to me, it is just a transition hotel for me.
Going back to talk about the hotel. you will find it easily. Coz you can see a big enough logo outside the entrance. The location is also near the Nimman Main street, so it is not hard to find. The design of the lobby is fashionable. It is a mix of using wood products and dark color as the frame of the hotel. The mixture of this couple has attracted my eye sight. The lobby is not so big but its long. I think the thing that i don't like in the hotel is the lift only. The lift is too small, which the maximum capacity may only be 4 people with luggage. The breakfast it provided is local food mainly, it also have simple western breakfast like toast and cereal you can choose.
The room I booked is a room with two single beds. The design of my room is simple, the main color of the room is dark blue or navy blue. There is a desk under the television, you will have enough space to put your personal things. There is a window in my room, but there is not much view outside. The beds is normal hotel beds, so its comfort....
