Read moreI came in right at opening (8am) hoping to get some work done, but it was honestly uncomfortable from the moment I sat down. The music was blasting like a nightclub - so loud that I could still hear it through my noise-cancelling AirPods. I went up to the counter to the larger lady that takes the orders and politely asked if that was normal, and she just laughed and said âyes, itâs normal.â When I explained that I could still hear it through my headphones, she just smiled, said âsorry,â and carried on. No change whatsoever.
Between the overpowering music, the weak air conditioning (it felt really stuffy), and the mosquitoes biting me while I tried to work, it was a pretty miserable experience. Iâd already ordered a drink, so I stuck it out for a bit, but it was impossible to focus.
For one of the more expensive cafÃĐs in the area, I expected a much more comfortable environment - or at least some care for customer experience. Definitely wonât be back, especially when there are nicer and more relaxed options nearby.
If you want a good place to work and have great drinks, food and service, go to Ombra Cafe, Groon, Klay, Brewfact, Hang & Craft or Barisotel....

If youâre looking for a nice meal incl coffee, food has to be purchased from another store Milk overpowered the taste of coffee. Couldnât taste coffee Menu was very confusing. I initially chose something w latte art and ordered. When I requested for the unicorn design, I was told this was another item on the menu. The waitress didnât explain further and only emphasised the price difference, was so impatient that I didnât get a chance to clarify or look at the menu after. I just know the unicorn latte art coffee was significantly pricier than my original choice As above, service felt very brash. Sure customers came in non stop and they didnât lack for business. But I would rethink visiting this place again cos the service...
