After staying in 15+ hotels in Chiang mai I would say overall this is probably our favorite hotel in Chiang mai
It is run by a middle aged Korean couple so about half the guests were Korean during our stay. I felt like I was back in Korea sometimes hehe.
Room: most comfortable mattresses in Thailand!
402: Had more storage options and a small window 🪟 and a 🛁
401: more spacious and twin beds with large big windows so it feels more bright 🌞😎 . It is also connected to the room next door so it's ideal if you have family or friends staying with you in the next room.
Personally we preferred 402 with bathtub 🛁 but both is fine depending on your needs.
Lobby: 24 hours drinking water, tea ☕ and coffee ☕+ small snacks.
Comfortable seating areas and staff is very on point with cleaning 🧹 🧼
Wifi: stable and fast. Even has a ethernet port!
Rooftop patio to enjoy surrounding areas
Staff: owner is friendly but reserved will greet you but no small talk. The staff is also very helpful as well.
Location: this is the only con I can think of as it's located in a quiet street with not much lighting in the evening and nothing really that is super close
It's still near enough for cafes, restaurants and massages but still have to walk about 5 minutes to the nearest ones down some alleys.
Overall this will be our go to place if we want to stay...
Read moreIt was nice at the beginning. The room was so nice and comfortable bed with common price also there are 6 breakfast no buffet. I have plan to come back in this hotel next visit but this is what happened and i got such an unprofessional with worse experience on my departure day. I called to receptionist around 8am that i would like to late check out at 14:00 and staff was said impossible cause this time is Songkran can check out at 12:30 so i’m down and respect them cause there are so many guest are waiting for check in. I went outside and come back to the hotel at 12:20 for take my bags and check out. Lady receptionist had stop me and said your belonging already here we bought them down for you. At this situation i was talked to her like why don’t you call to informed me first that you will mind with my stuff and this is such unprofessional because i work at the hotel as well and never ever done this to a guests. How dare you take my belonging without my permission and she just say sorry with shameless and point to the person who took my stuff. My point is i don’t care who was a person who took them but at least just called me for my permission first and should not did like that i have rechecked my belonging again and my earring in my hand luggage was lost but it’s not...
Read moreThe best hotel in the world! (Yes there’re countless luxury hotels but I don’t care) The fact that we’ve been staying here for 76 days says it all. I’ve extended my stay twice and seen a shift in ownership. The new owner is just as amazing as the former one. Today I almost cried when I checked out cuz it feels like I’m leaving home.
The kindness and hospitality of the owner and staff make me wanna cry. Bella the owner is so lovable and generous. Every morning she made us customized authentic Korean breakfast per each person’s diet. Her food is tastier than in any Korean restaurant I’ve been to. The receptionist Thanya is also super sweet and attentive. They do their best to make you feel comfortable.
The hotel is beautifully designed, well maintained, and sparkling clean. My room has a balcony with nice mountain view. It’s walking distance to everywhere but away from the hustle and bustle, so at night it’s very quiet. Even during the day with the windows closed you won’t hear anything from outside. Ideal for people sensitive to noises.
I wish to come back here one day and will recommend this hotel to everyone...
