Thank You Chiang Mai House — Hotel in Chiang Mai Province

We stayed at Thank You Guesthouse for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. Felt like a home away from home.|The room with a shared bathroom was lovely, bed was a little loud so rolling over was difficult, but it was always dead quiet and necessities such as toilet rolls were always replenished and the bathroom was cleaned daily. Wifi worked well and the shower was hot (not that we needed one, mind!)|Montha, the host, couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. She provided us with a map on arrival and pointed out all the places to go and see and things to do, and let us use her phone to contact our next hotel when we ran into a few issues. Montha was always knocking around and happy to help, loved to have a chat and really made us feel welcomed. Location-wise the guest house is great (personally), the area is very quiet and the guest house itself is situated down a small alley so literally nobody walks past. It's only a 20minute walk to the Night Bazaar just outside of the walls (which we definitely recommend going to!!) and is surrounded by plenty of bars, cafes, restaurants and shops and mini-marts.|Downstairs is a nice sitting area with free water and bananas, there is plenty of information on trips and tours and the opportunity for fruit shakes or breakfast too. Montha was also reliable in arranging our airport transfer early in the morning and woke up to see us off.|We had a really enjoyable stay here and the fact that Montha was around for anything we needed made it even better and was very comforting. Would definitely recommend, especially for the price, and would certainly stay there again if we ever came back to Chiang Mai!|Thank You for having us Montha!|Evie...

We stayed here 10 days, and this beautiful place became our home. The place is in a perfect position if you looking for a really quiet street and stay in centre.For example from there in three hours by walk, we visited all of the temples into the old city. 5 minutes by walk and you can arrive in Talat somphet market to buy fruits or snacks open every day all day and in 20minutes by walk there is pratu chiang mai market,night thai food market, you can find delicious food here! I can still write about food a lot but I suggest you to ask about that to the owners because I know all of this staff thanks to them, they are special people for me, always ready to help you, to have a chat and laughing together. Montha thank you for your beautiful and huge breakfast, to helped me to understand all of your amazing food,to share with me your stories and tried our italian food. Papà Sandro you will be always in our heart! Thank you for everything that you did with us, of course it's a see you soon and not a goodbye! You're place is the best in town!!!!
