I was between 2 and 3 Stars. Without the incidents described below I would have even given 4 or 5 Stars. But as the soft product was bad, I decided for 2 Stars.
My experience started off great, as the hotel has a lot going for it. It’s very modern and new, with cozy, high-quality beds and pillows that made sleeping very comfortable. The rooms are sleek and come with Japanese-style toilets and a nice balcony, which were definite highlights.
Unfortunately, the soft product fell short and impacted my overall stay. The cleaning was mediocre—I found long female hair in the bathroom upon arrival, and the provided slippers were dirty since they’re reusable. There was also a mild odor in the room, which wasn’t too strong but noticeable enough to be unpleasant.
The lack of storage space was another issue. With only 4 hangers and no real closet, I had to live out of my suitcase, which was inconvenient for an extended stay.
The biggest disappointment, however, was how they handled a towel. I was asked to pay 300 baht for a towel they claimed I had made dirty. When I asked to check it, there was some dirt, but I managed to wash it clean in 30 seconds. Charging such an excessive amount for something that was easily fixable felt unfair and sneaky.
Lastly, while a few staff members were kind, most seemed bored and uninterested, often glued to their phones and sometimes rude. This hotel has a lot of potential, but service and attention to detail need significant...
Read moreLived here for over a month in cheapest room. There are tired rooms with leaking roof, lagging air conditioning and so on, but there are also fresh ones. I was quickly moved to another room twice without any problems.
Almost all balconies face the neighboring hotel with panoramic windows, from where you are being watched 💀
The pool from photos is for VIP rooms only (from 14k baht). No laundry room for your clothes (nearest one is a 10 min walk)
Otherwise no problems. Friendly staff, always helpful, 24 hour reception, full cleaning every day, noise isolation was ok, free drinks and snacks in mini bar and fresh juice at reception at any time. You can smoke (whatever you want) on the balcony with no problem. Good location. Big and soft bed, lots of pillows make it super comfy.
I think it little overpriced for chiangmai, but there is a long stay...
Read moreStaff service poor, not very helpful, always on their phones too busy to care. Don't expect any English speaking staff either if you don't speak Thai.
No pool access as it's entirely reserved for the single VIP suite only.
The lobby was often the domain of staff & tour operators.... often had to stand around whilst waiting in lobby.
Services - none available to us, other than room & coffee / toast.
Room - toilet (electronic Japanese style) wouldn't work from remote at all. Was rather frustrating. We stayed for 5 days, booked 2 rooms.
If you're after a nice room only in Nimman it's suitable. If you expect any other services...
