Stayed on 10/oct/2024. This is the worst hotel i’ve ever experienced in 30+ countries, what a lame. Don’t ever book this hotel unless you intentionally want to ruin your trip. There are many more better hotels at better rate around sukhumvit. Knowing the actual condition and level of service of this property, I will never stay here again even if it’s free.

The room is super old and dirty, (the pics you saw from booking apps are all heavily photoshopped), and smells like basement. Look at their a/c grill condition in the pic. This amount of dust implies they never opens it, meaning no a/c cleaning for ages. My friend’s room was also same situation. And the corridor is like a ghost house lol..

The maintenance staff suddenly broke in my room when I was sleeping, without any pre-information nor my agreement. I kept saying them to go out but they didn’t leave even after realising there’s a guest inside, but kept repeating that we came to clean something and only left after several minutes. What kind of joke is that?

The receptionist lied to me. For above no.2, I requested immediate checkout and partial refund for the remaining nights I booked. The receptionist issued me a letter for partial refund but actually they didn’t proceed with my credit card cancellation yet, it’s been a month but my credit card company has not received any cancellation from you. You guys kept lying it’s been cancelled but are unable to provide me any proof of cancellation of my transaction until now. What a shame.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. However, there’s best western right infront, with much better room condition at much cheaper rate and far...

We stayed at this hotel in July 2024. The first rooms we were given were on a lower floor and the carpets in the halls were really stained & disgusting looking. The rooms smelt badly of cannabis. We had two rooms & the air conditioning in one did not work at all (didn't turn on) & had only one bathroom light working, so was very dark. We went to reception & after asking if we had put a card in (we had tried that), they said someone would be up to fix it. After a while we returned to the room to see if they had done anything, as we hadn't heard back from them. They had stuck 2 cards in together- the air conditioning still didn't work. We returned to reception & they changed our rooms- we even got an upgrade for one! We were on a higher floor & the halls were a lot better there (wooden flooring) with no smell. The air conditioning didn't work well in one of the rooms again, but when we told them this was fixed & it was great after that. All the rooms had been pretty clean, some parts had wear & tear, but not too bad. The bathrooms were good & had ok water pressure. The views on the higher floors were amazing! The staff were lovely in the hotel & the breakfast had good range of choice. The swimming pool was lovely- I didn't think it was too small, which has been mentioned in other reviews. The location is really good, being 10-15 minutes walk from Asoke station & Sukhumvit MRT. If you walk through the car park to the left as you go out of the hotel, you can get a free tuk tuk at the Rembrandt hotel to the main road. I probably wouldn't stay here again because of the initial problems with the rooms, but it was cheap & a great location- so that's why it...

Stayed 3 nights in January in a twin Premier room. Selected this hotel largely based on the recommendation of a friend who had stayed there previously. I was not so impressed with the hotel. Why?

Well, it turns out that the hotel has multiple buildings, some of which have nicer (larger and by the sounds of it, recently renovated) rooms than others. It turns out that my friend had been upgraded to a nicer room and did not realize it. I was not so lucky, and received a smaller, unrenovated room.

Good points: The room was clean, the air conditioner and fridge worked, the bed was reasonably comfortable, the shower had hot water, and the pool was nice.

Not so good points: The room was very dated and drab, it was small, there was no seating other than one uncomfortable office chair, and it had a poorly insulated connecting door to the adjacent room which seemed to have a large family in it who where boisterous late into the night. The photos on the website were not well representative of the room I received.

There was nothing fundamentally wrong with the room, but my expectation was that that this was a 4-star hotel. My experience was that I paid 4-star price for a 3-star hotel, or at least a 3-star room in the hotel. For this I docked 2 stars in my rating.

Based on my friend's input, I suspect that there are some very nice rooms in the hotel, but since I didn't have one of those I cannot review...

Stay was Good. Variety of food provided for breakfast was great. Rooms were quiet. No noise from outside. Lots of massage centers nearby. Pedicure manicure centers nearby. Walking distance to Terminal 21. Walking distance to train station. A high end premium Indian restaurant nearby. A few complaints though. 1) As soon as I got into the room, the first thing I wanted to do was have a coffee. I was shocked to see that the coffee cup was either not washed or not washed properly. It had coffee stains on the brim and at the bottom. I complained to the staff at Reception. New cups were immediately provided. 2) The hotel is not accommodating for elderly guests. I was here with my elderly parents, and while breakfast was included in our stay, they found it difficult to walk to a nearby location for it. Typically, hotels worldwide provide breakfast within the same building for convenience. 3) The hotel only has bathtubs in the bathrooms, which requires guests to step into the tub to bathe. This setup has been extremely difficult for my elderly parents. Providing an option for a standard shower would have been much more accommodating. 4) The hotel has a musty smell, which gives guests the impression that the decor feels old and stale 5) The room lacks sufficient lighting. Although there’s a large window for natural daylight, there aren’t enough lamps to adequately brighten the room at night.

Don't know how this is considered a 4 star hotel. It's about to fall apart, and excuse my French, zero fcks given by anyone who works here. Also if you book through a 3rd party you get automatically sent to the old tower where the rooms still look like 1980 and you have to use the fireman's elevator. I actually asked for a new room due to an issue with hot water after I returned from Sangkron festivities at 10 PM. Really disappointing to come back exhausted and covered in sweat and pond water and not be able to shower. The gentleman at the front desk blatantly lied to me and said they were fully booked, when the hotel was showing availability online through numerous different platforms including their direct website. No apologies either. He acted annoyed that I was even asking like hot water shouldn't be a necessity at all. The place is run down and the staff are very cold. They will watch you struggle with your bags up the stairs to check-in and don't even bother opening doors. It's not exactly a 4 star experience where they greet you with a welcome drink and take your bags to your room. Not here. The pool is in the shade all day. The gym is outdated and no AC. Sauna is non-existent. The wifi does not work at all. The shower water bounces between cold and scorching hot. Do not stay here. Pay $20 more and pick from any other hotel surrounding this property. The location is wonderful.
