I never review veg restaurants poorly, but this one just ain't right - food tastes...I don't know - something is off about it for thai vegetarian food. Like it was cooked by a non-vegetarian and/or someone who doesn't eat thai food. It's not 'bad' but it lacks the deepness of flavour I've had everywhere else in Thailand - living here over a year.

The pricing is also downright offensive for the portions; not only did they add a 10% service charge and 7% VAT charge, but the portions are around 30% smaller than most restaurants.

I could look past that if the food was good - and service was good - but it was below average, and while I'd normally just write-it off even then and not leave a review, not wanting to give a veg place a bad review, they charged 25baht for a namthip water - not a glass bottle, or some fancy water brand, but the cheapest water available at the supermarket or 711.

The markup is 400%~.

Never have I been charged that much for such a bottle of water - not in any of the hundred plus restaurants I've been to in Thailand, not on the street late at night, not at a mom and pop corner store or restaurant, not on the 50th floor of a rooftop bar, not in the middle of nowhere an hour hike from anything resembling a road.

25 baht for a small cheap water bottle - it tipped me over the edge, the owner is beyond greedy, screw it being a vegetarian restaurant - that's just absurd.

10 baht like most restaurants? Suitable; 15 baht if you want to be greedy, or even 20 if you want to be a bit absurd, but 25 is just offensive for such water.

Anyhow there's plenty of other vegetarian restauants around, including thai ones just a few minutes walk North of this one - go to one of them. Not here - unless it's 9pm and nothing else is open. Maybe even then just go to 711 and get a frozen meal - that's what...

The food was excellent and possibly the best food we had during the whole trip we recently had to Thailand.

They catered very well for vegetarians but as a mixed couple (I eat meat my wife doesn't) the food was outstanding whatever your diet.

The massaman curry was a particular favourite of ours and all the other food we ordered was also excellent.

We were staying very nearby at the Grande Centre Point Surawong and it was very convenient.

There are just a few things they can do that would make a huge difference (from our western perspective)

  1. Lights... it was lit like a sports stadium and far too bright for a relaxing dinner.
  2. Music... it was inaudible and it meant we could hear everyone else's conversation in the restaurant as well as every clink of cutlery and a very squeaky door.
  3. The service was initially very quick and food was very efficient bit then when we finished, we had to ask for plates to be cleared and for the dessert menu and the person who welcomed us had disappeared and a younger waiter was talking with the person at the welcome desk for a good 20/30mins before asking us if we wanted anything else.

These sound picky but we genuinely loved the food and want them to be successful so I hope our...

I went there after seeing the reviews but I was disappointed. Very noisy. My pad thai dish was good but the green curry was so spicy I wasn't able to eat it at all. This is after the waiter assured me that it can be made mild. The fried rice had an old oil smell to it and wasn't special at all. I will not return to this place. Beside the food there was a large birthday party and the noise level in the restaurant was very high. It made the whole experience awful. The people at the birthday party table were not considerate and made a lot of noise but the restaurant staff didn't ask them to be quiet either. I am sure they could have requested them to be a little quieter. The tofu they gave in the curry was all crushed tofu. I have never had curry with crushed tofu. They normally have chunky tofu. Overall I am very disappointed as I thought I had found a good...

Here's a sample review you can use: --- Amazing Thai Vegetarian Food at Krua Boon! I had the pleasure of dining at Krua Boon recently, and it was a delightful experience, especially for a vegetarian like me. The variety of vegetarian options on their menu is impressive, with dishes that are flavorful, fresh, and authentic. I highly recommend trying the Pad Thai and Green Curry—both were perfectly spiced and full of rich flavors. The ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, and the balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy was spot on, which is a hallmark of great Thai food. The service was warm and friendly, and the cozy ambiance made the meal even more enjoyable. If you're looking for delicious and authentic Thai vegetarian cuisine, Krua Boon is the place to go! I’ll definitely be back to try more of their amazing Thai food !

As a vegetarian Thai-food-lover who’s grown up in Bangkok, I’d definitely rate this is as the best vegetarian Thai food I’ve had in the city right now! Previously in the ATM Food Court in Phahurat, this restaurant has just recently opened on Silom and has an extensive vegetarian Thai food menu. The dishes pictured are my favourites and I can highly recommend them. Location is great on main Silom road, but parking can be a bit of an issue - there are some places in the alley right before the restaurant, but if it’s full you’ll have to find it in a building few sois ahead. Best to get there a bit early for lunch so you can have fast service, as it was packed by 12:30 on a weekday. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for extremely tasty, affordable, fully vegetarian Thai food.

Love - Kang Phed Tofu Love - Yum Tofu Foo We came to know this franchise from the Central Embassy Food court. Food is delicious and the portions are mouthful. We have tried most of the vegetarian dishes and soups and they are all good. They also have a branch in the Central Embassy. Although the food looks more presentable there, the portions are big here. (Compliments to Central Embassy Chef & this branch). Decently priced. 100% recommendation to anyone who loves Vegetarian Thai food. Also love almost all the drinks. This is the first place that i really can't even nitpick about. Good luck
