My recent stay at the Mulberry was nothing short of a disappointment. From the moment we arrived until the time we checked out, the entire experience was marred by various issues that left us feeling frustrated and unsatisfied.|Firstly, upon check-in, we were taken aback by the large deposit demanded for the room key card. While they claimed it was a standard practice, it felt like an unnecessary burden and left a negative impression right from the start.|Next came the outrageous fine during checkout for allegedly dirty bed sheets. We were astonished to find out that we were being penalized for sheets that had sweat and slight tan stains caused by the sweltering heat. It is essential to remember that hotels exist to provide comfort and relaxation for guests, and these issues are precisely what a well-maintained establishment should anticipate. Charging guests for something as trivial as sweat stains on bed sheets is simply unreasonable and feels like a blatant attempt to extract more money from customers.|However, the most disappointing aspect of our stay was undoubtedly the staff's behavior. Their rudeness and unfriendliness were evident from the moment we stepped foot in the hotel. We were greeted with curt responses, and any requests we made were met with disinterest and disdain. It seemed like they had no interest in providing even the most basic level of hospitality, leaving us feeling like unwelcome intruders rather than...
Read moreWe had two stays here (first time for 5 nights, second time for 1 night), and our experience was pretty different the second time, so I'm trying to capture both experiences in this review. Overall, this was a really lovely hotel and an amazing find! The property is newly renovated, beds were super comfortable, bathrooms were lovely, AC was amazing, and pool was really nice. The staff was kind and helpful. Really amazing value for the money! Now for the difference between the stays - this hotel is on Khaosan Road, which if you don't already know is a CRAZY party street (like blasting music all night, super packed crowds, cars can't go through the street). Our first stay, we were in a room toward the back of the hotel (closer to the elevator) and it was amazingly, blessedly quiet. The second stay, were were in a room overlooking the street (farthest from elevator) and it was the loudest room I have ever stayed in. You could feel the bass in your bones from inside the room. Sadly they couldn't switch us because the hotel was full, so we made do with earplugs and it was only one night. Overall, highly recommend this hotel, just be aware that the location might make it impossible to sleep depending on which...
Read moreI went to the hotel to make a reservation last night, and the counter told me that I can check in the room at 12:00 today. If the room is not cleaned, I can put my luggage at the counter first. Wait until you come back at night to pick up your luggage. When I arrived at this hotel today, when I arrived, there were several people waiting in line to check out. When I waited for a while, she asked me if I had a reservation. I told her well that I had come to confirm yesterday, how could I know that the counter staff shouted at me to line up! Scold me for not queuing! The lady at the counter was very rude and told me to wait in line until two o'clock! I explained to her that I would pay first, put my luggage at the counter, and only get my room card when I came back at night. How did I know she still scolded me loudly! Also scold a Thai word Malaysian heh!! bad sound +++! ! Suddenly a foreign man she told him that I came in to quarrel with her! God! Since I was shouted at by a worker in Thailand! It also makes me feel discriminated against by the color of my skin! It is highly not recommended to stay in ! First time in Thailand get bad service ! Feeling very Bad!this hotel! The service attitude is...
