Terrible service by the front desk staff.26/11/24 9.45pm, i have approached the front desk staff. I have informed them that i have misplaced one of my room key card, Maybe I have left it at the breakfast room this morning while having my breakfast. I have also asked them whether anyone have return my room key card to the front desk and perhaps i could have a new keycard. To my surprised the front desk lady instantly with a rude voice and arrogant body language told me to pay 300baht. I told her if she can assist me to check with the staff at the breakfast room. She has refused to listen to my explanation and repeatedly said i have to pay. Worst part she don’t even bother to ask for my room number. She insisted me to pay for the misplaced keycard. I was so angry and requested to see the manager. She told me that the manager ‘went out’.I then told her that she don’t have to kept on repeatedly mentioned that i have to pay for the misplaced of the room key cards. I was just asking whether anyone have return my room key card to the front desk and perhaps the front desk can assist me to check at the breakfast room.. Rudely she asked me to check myself tomorrow at the breakfast room. The front desk staff then sat down at the counter doing her job and ignored me who was standing in front of her at the reception counter. I have sent a email to the hotel because when i told the front desk staff that i will log a complaint she told me to go ahead. The hotel representative has responded to my email and said it is a misunderstanding and miscommunication. As a guest of the hotel, i personally felt that there is zero customer service provided by the hotel staffs. There wasn't any misunderstanding or miscommunication between me and the front desk staff during the conversation . The staff was so rude by ignoring the guest who was standing right in front of them. Worst part no apology and the staff can just sat down in front of a guest while the guest is standing. Upon checked out, i have paid 300baht by cash.Seriously I strongly do not recommend First House Hotel.BKK.Mistake i make was, I should read more negative reviews about the hotel at Trip Advisor before making a booking at this hotel....

For those who are phobic of old small cubical elevator. Well, it's the model they're having. Walking through the stairs is not practical as its too cramp, steep and no handrails to hold on too. In case of fire emergency, this can be a big issue. Unless you are young and strong which you able to jump of the roof towards next shop houses building grills.
The water heater is located at the corridor outside the room for your coffee or tea. It would be good to bring your own thermal flask if you wanted to keep some hot water for drinking.
They will only give you one key card when you checked in alone, you will need to pay a refundable deposit of 1000 baht. If you need an extra key card, you will need to place another deposit for it. This is because if you are charging your phone, the moment you pulled out your key card. All electricity will be cut off. Except the mini bar fridge.

Place is okay, near to lot of shopping centre and street foods are just one-step away. ||Hotel was average, room is big enough for luggage and stuffs, air conditioning works as intended. Bathroom is way too small, and hot water isn't working the whole stay, forcing me to take the cold shower entirely. Room was clean enough, the bathroom was just ok but they could do better. Cold storage available in our room, bur not water heater. Only 2 power sockets available in our room, which are dull and we have to hang our wall plug during charge. WiFi connection was good, but needs password to connect, which given only 2 passwords each room (but you could request for more passwords to receptionist). ||There are maximum 2 pax capacity for each room despite its big room size, and will be charged THB 1000 for extra person, each night, which we forced to pay since we're staying with 3 person a night, and no available room left. ||In conclusion, First House Hotel strategically located in 'heart of' Pratunam, a decent hotel for short-term stay to get easy access to most tourist picks. Personally i will not recommend this place for...
