Tucked in a small corner of a small lane. Came today to try it out and didn't regret at all. Our family of 8 all gave it a thumbs up!!
Food: ordered the tom yam instant noodles, although a little salty but overall flavorful and delicious. Has alot of ingredients including prawns, sotong, roast pork, meat ball etc. Also ordered the prawn with tang hoon, simply delicious. Mango salad is also a must order.
Service: Simply superb and accommodating. The lady boss is very attentive to our needs and is very patient in introducing their recommended dishes.
Atmosphere: Air-conditioned and comfortable. Seating capacity is not big, come early to get your seats. Oh yes the shop plays west life music in the background, guess the lady boss is a big fan, hahaha. Very conducive and homely dining spot.
Overall happy and satisfied customer. My youngest 8/yo daughter even asked if we can patronise again tomorrow. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Thai...
Read moreThis place is a hidden gem, as it took me a little while to find. It lies in what looks like a small alley and entrance to parking lot of Juldis Mansion. On a hot day, this is a great place to relax and have an excellent meal at a reasonable price. Food is fresh with descent amount of traffic. They have a diverse menu of Thai food that should satisfy most. The staff was very nice and helpful in selecting a dish. I tried the kale in oyster sauce, chicken with vegetables, fried rice and some chicken. I also ordered a green tea which was refreshing.
On a separate note, the music station they play is excellent. It's a mix of everything. During my visit they played a mix of Ed Sherin, country (Luke Bryan) and Latin(Shakira). I wish I had this place back home. Almost forgot, free wifi. You need to ask for password. Most importantly CASH ONLY. So...
Read moreHave been wanting to try out this place due to many good google reviews. Apart from its good location near to the hotel im staying, i feel that the reviews are over-rated. Ordered the following: Giant tom yum mama 329thb - apart from the wow size, nothing else to shout about. Just a very normal tasting tom yum mama. Morning glory 120thb - not bad. Tasty and crunchy. Basil pork 220thb - taste not bad. But the pork is way too hard. Iced thai green milk tea 69thb - worst i had. Even road side stall's taste much better. No jasmine fragrance, taste diluted and very sweet. Just like green sugar syrup with milk. First time i drank few sips and gave up on it. Utterly disappointed. Ordered a can drink and it came with a cup of ice but chargable. Not sure its common practice to charge for ice. Only 3thb thou, not a big issue. Overall, i would not go back again. Just not...
