Riva Hotel — Hotel in Beyoğlu

This is THE property at Lake Constance. It is the most luxurious and authentic property you will find in this area. This is a perfect place to unwind and relax. The location is just perfect. Just a few minutes of a walk away from the old downtown but also located directly on the lake. If you’re looking for a place to unwind and to relax and enjoy true leisure time this is a must go to.

First of all about their restaurants they are absolutely exquisite. Truly inspiring dishes, such as fried rice, sushi with lychee and mango salsa toppings or mini burgers that Korean style. This restaurant also has a beautiful terrace for you to enjoy the view of the lake and do what is most common in this area: sit and relax by the lake. breakfast was fabulous with things such as Bavarian style sausages, or pancakes, made ready to order or couscous or seasonal fresh fruit. A wide variety of breads and various spreads there would literally be something for everybody.

In case you are worried that it’s going to rain no worries. This property has a beautiful spa sauna and steam bath as well as various treatments that they offer. I personally really like Ayurveda treatments they had but they also do a Lomi lomi massage. I really enjoyed that there were a variety of massages and not just your standard cookie cutter classic massage.

The location is grate even you need to be near to taksim square and İstiklal street. You can find metro and bus station near the hotel easily and go to the charshi bazar by metro for example. Room is a little small but it's clean. In the other hand, it hasn't some futures for example it's wired that a 4 star hotel hadn't toothbrush or toothpaste 😐 They don't have any glass or plate or cup in rooms, too. That I think it's bad point for this hotel with this good situation. By the way I liked the place and the staff behaviors even though they don't know English. I mean they are professional and if they know english to conect more easily with gusts, it would be great. A bout the breakfast, it's fine, delicious and high quality. The hotel riva is nice. The room was spacious enough. The bathroom needs maintenance. And the hotel itself needs a good renovation. The lift is too small for 2 person and their luggage. At the reception no proper information given to us. Staffs do not understand english. I dont speak turkish. I asked if they have a swimming pool they say no. They were not polite too. So rude. No smile no hello. Nothing. There was only 1 guy who was so helpful. Breakfast was good. Lots of variety. Location is very beautiful. But beside I saw an abandoned plot covered with steel. This is not nice. There should be a parking space for the coach bus so that it becomes easy and safe for the tourist to get from the bus and take their luggage.
