Istanbul can get so hot in summer! We were looking for some ice-cream for our child and there weren´t any good ice-cream shops in sight. We found this place and ordered a cup for our son. He was surprised and entertained by the "performance": the ice-cream seems to be dropped. Till then, ok. Then we ordered another one for my husband and I. We wanted just one ice-cream, two flavours. The man assumed we wanted two different cups, which was not the case, but everything is done so quickly, that you know you are in a trap, but can't escape because the second ice-cream was already served. We ended up paying 900 lira for 3 cups... Probably the most expensive ice-cream in the world (at least if you consider quality/value). The content was not much and not good. Our son was happy with the chocolate (which child isn't?), but the pistacchio flavour was just insipid -even more considering the tradition of this fruit in Turkish confectionery. And they had only 5 very basic flavours (vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, pistacchio and something else)... nothing special. If you want ice-cream, just go to a supermarket and get any common cone or bar. It will be much more tasteful and, without any doubt, a way cheaper. Be careful! This kind of ice-cream shops are in the main tourist streets.

They said to my wife Bathroom was not operated, I went up to Bathroom to see what is wrong with it as I was taking a photo one of the stuff walked up and said there was not water he checked and see it was running on one side and other other side was not running water. I feel like they may be sick of cleaning it since it is in the middle of Taksim Square, so many ppl walking in to use Bathrooms (not customers) Not my problem, management is the one who should manage the circumstances and serve the best for their visitors. I wish I was talking g about their food and prices or greatness of their stuff, but one small thing will wipe off everything for a person. And there is only a bad memory of the place 😞

World traveler here! Merhaba Nasilsin- Hello, how are you? 👋 🤠 Busy place, fast service and several small items and ready to go sandwhichs. I thought the simit was fresher than the street food vendors. There are several locations in the area. I would come again. Great prices! 👍 Please follow @bouncingplacesfood on YOUTUBE It helps support the channel so I can continue sharing amazing places like this to eat and fun adventures as I travel the world full time 🌎 🙏 See you in the next one! Keep on Bouncing Baby 😎❤️👍💯

Very disappointing experience !! I honestly don’t recommend this place at all !!

The latte was a disaster: burnt milk, no flavor, just bad. The petit pain au chocolat tasted like it was baked a week ago.. dry, stale, and absolutely nothing like the real thing also 2 böreks no flavor..

2 lattes, 1 pain au chocolat, and 2 böreks, and the total was 370 lira. The quality does not match the price at all.

To make things worse, the service was far below standard. We were still eating when the waitress suddenly came over, cleared the plates, and started wiping the table in a way that felt like she was hinting for us to leave.. even though the café was nearly empty. Very unprofessional behavior.

Honestly, you'd be better off buying a fresh simit for 25 lira and having it with some instant coffee. It would taste better and cost a fraction...

You have been warned don’t go to this location for coffee . Try other places or Starbucks for better coffee and price !

I thought this was a decent honest shop for local cafe customers , but wow ..they rip off tourists as well. We asked for coffee and wanted large. The person charged us 140tl for a cup equal to medium size Starbucks. And says that it’s twice their regular coffee so has to charge twice. It was cheap machine brewed just like at hotel lounge. Have never been to a cafe that charges coffee size twice or triple based on their smallest size. It always a tiny bit more to go to a step up.

The pastries looked attractive but the taste was meh!

For your coffee don’t go to this place !!! Look for...
