Efzen hotel — Hotel in Fatih

Found the location slightly odd, it is in a back alley of old Istanbul, I travelled with my friend and she left a week later so I was alone for a week. I did feel uncomfortable walking in the area as it is quiet and the men surrounding the area can be creepy, so girls please be aware and vigilante.

I came to stay during my rhinoplasty trip.

The rooms are small, look way smaller than the photo, - it is a struggle if you are sharing with another. I got the twin room.

The staff were lovely, there as a Russian Man- Sergai and he was a great friend on my travels. His communication was great even though he spoke Russian, we learnt to communicate together in Turkish. We recommend this hotel because 1) it is close to many of the interesting monuments that you can easily visit in 1 day (finish with Topkapi Palace) 2) yet it is located remote from the concussion in a calm area 3) The shower works perfectly, with hot water and nice water pressure, and a working drain. Usually, wherever I go, I have to fix the shower first, then extract tons of hair and other waste of hundreds of clients from the clogged drain before I can take a shower. A hot shower is important when you walk all day long. 4) Abdullah, at the reception, is very friendly and helpful. The hotel offers a nice view on the sea for some rooms.
