Garden 1897 - Istanbul Rating: 5/5 - A Memorable Experience My visit to Garden 1897 was truly exceptional, and I cannot thank “Kadir” enough for the outstanding care and attention we received. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, making us feel immediately welcomed. We ordered the “Testi Kebabi Dana” or “Pottery Kebab” which was perfectly prepared—tender, flavorful, and cooked on fire in-front of us to perfection. Every bite was delicious, and it’s clear that a lot of thought and skill goes into the preparation of the dishes here. The portion was generous and beautifully presented, which added to the overall experience. What really set the evening apart was the after-meal service. Kadir went above and beyond to ensure we left fully satisfied. He surprised us with a delightful platter of baklava, a fresh fruit plate, and a choice of tea or coffee to end the meal. This thoughtful touch really made us feel cared for and appreciated as customers. The attention to detail and the genuine hospitality of the staff, especially Kadir, made this one of the most satisfying dining experiences we’ve had in Istanbul. The service was quick, attentive, and friendly without being overbearing, which added to the relaxing atmosphere. Overall, if you're looking for a place in Istanbul with great food and amazing customer care, I highly recommend Garden 1897 Restaurant. Our experience at Garden 1897 in Istanbul was truly exceptional. We were recommended this restaurant by a local, and it more than lived up to our expectations. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was inviting, and the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The restaurant was bustling, which is always a good sign, but despite the crowd, the service was prompt and attentive. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary needs, showing great care in ensuring that our meal was tailored to our preferences and allergies. They were courteous, professional, and eager to make sure we had a fantastic dining experience. It’s rare to find such personalized attention, and it truly enhanced our visit. As for the food, it was nothing short of amazing. We ordered the lamb and lahmacun, both of which were packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The lamb was tender and seasoned beautifully, while the lahmacun had the perfect balance of spices. To top it off, they served complimentary olives and freshly baked bread, which added an extra special touch to the meal. Overall, Garden 1897 is a gem in Istanbul, and we couldn’t recommend it more. I recently had the pleasure of visiting a this kebab restaurant in town, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The restaurant itself was clean, modern and well-decorated, but it was the staff who truly made the visit memorable. In particular, I would like to compliment one member of staff by the name of Kadir. He was incredibly welcoming and friendly from the moment I walked through the door, and went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was a great one. He was knowledgeable about the menu, made some excellent recommendations and even took the time to chat with me and make me feel at home. The food, of course, was outstanding - some of the best kebabs I have had in a long time. But it was the exceptional service that really made the visit stand out for me. Kadir and the rest of the staff were attentive throughout, making sure that I had everything I needed and that my meal was perfect.
