If I can give 0 stars I would.
This might be the worst $50 dollars I spent in my life.
Place looks nice, I sit down order a veggie plate. And I ask the waiter what the market price is on the grilled octopus.
He comes back and tells me 300 lira around $43 dollars I ask him how many grams and he says 400 grams..
I think about the price and the quantity and I ask the waiter is the grilled octopus good he says of course it is veryy good.
I say duck it I want some good octopus so I don’t mind spending $40 plus on one plate in Istanbul.
My octopus arrives in 5 little small pieces , I tell t he waiter sir, you told me it was 400 grams !?
He comes back after 5 minutes and says the kitchen is cooking some more for me.
I said ok.
And take my first bite..
Couldn’t believe how chewy it was ..
I talk to the manager and tell him about my issues.. he tells me that the octopus they go t was very very big and that 3 other costumers said the same thing as I did about it being way too hard and too chewy.
I tell him if you can’t provide good quality octopus then maybe you shouldn’t have it on the menu.
I tell him I just payed $50 dollars for a small plate of not good octopus.
The manager says thank you for letting him know and that he will talk to his cook about it.
I told the waiter , man.. if another guest asks you if the octopus is good , don’t say that it is good. Because 1 out of 10 I give it 4 barely .
He says that he is sorry and if I would like some tea, or a glass of wine on the house .
I said no thank you I’m good.
The manager didn’t even try to comp my meal or take a discount of from the fifth dollar plate that I just payed .. and even when they brought the extra 3 little pieces of octopus no way on any planet was that 400 grams total.
Not even 300 grams
The staff the manager and the cook definitely dropped a ball on this one.
Would give it 0 stars .. the manager told me that the cooks were beating the octopus for a long time to make it soft.
I told him sir . It’s about the quality of the octopus that you are serving.
If it’s not good quality it doesn’t matter how many minutes you beat it..
And you should definitely charge $50 dollars for it.
I wouldn’t even pay $10 dollars for the plate that I had.
Horrible..
Hope you take care of this for the...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant that left me thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the breathtaking view that unfolded before my eyes. The restaurant's location provided a picturesque panorama that enhanced the overall dining experience.
Now, let's talk about the food. The shashlik they served was nothing short of superb. Each succulent piece was perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection, offering a delightful combination of flavors. The tenderness of the meat was remarkable, making every bite a true delight for my taste buds. It was undoubtedly one of the best shashlik experiences I've ever had.
To complement the delicious food, the restaurant also had a wide selection of flavorful hookah options. I thoroughly enjoyed trying different blends, and the staff was knowledgeable and attentive, ensuring a pleasant hookah experience throughout the evening.
What truly stood out for me, aside from the stunning view and delectable food, was the impeccable atmosphere. The restaurant had a welcoming ambiance that immediately put me at ease. The cozy lighting, comfortable seating, and tasteful decor all contributed to a memorable dining experience.
I must also mention that I had the opportunity to visit this restaurant about 10 months ago, and my return visit only reaffirmed my positive impressions. The fact that I didn't hesitate to come back and had no regrets speaks volumes about the consistent quality and exceptional service provided by this establishment.
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a remarkable dining experience. Whether it's the breathtaking view, the superb shashlik, the flavorful hookah, or the overall ambiance, this place has it all. Treat yourself to an unforgettable evening at this restaurant; you won't be...

Firstly we looked into the reviews of this place as you would do and decided to go there as it the place had great reviews. I was recommended to this place by my hotel's concierge, however on arrival we came to a random building and were pretty shocked to how old and somewhat run down it looked! We were reluctant to continue in but thought we would because it was late at the time and we had just got off our flight.
When we got in the guy was like, 'oh you're from the Aren Suites Hotel' there was no way for him to know this as there were around 10 other hotels around which make me believe my concierge guy had called them to say he was sending some customers over. There must be some sort of deal going on between the too or a commission in my mind being paid to the hotels locally to recommend and send customers.
We then sat down in a not very nice looking place, it didn't feel good at all, it is all quite run down. Then the food came out which was cold including the Turkish bread so it was not enjoyable at all (We thought the food might have made up for the surroundings) but this definitely wasn't the case.
The price for the food was also very expensive for what it was, we could have had a better meal in a much nicer restaurant for a lot less. Again not good. I would recommend you looking at the 4th picture on google, this is the actually place you will be visiting and once again the food was not great either nor the surroundings and finally my friend was sick after having the salmon that night.
I hope you found this review helpful. It is a true review on the restaurant unlike some of these other reviews which I dont believe...
